Have you ever seen such a dapper pair of dogs?? Louie and Lily are dressed in their finest for this matching set of small square canvases. I have to admit a tiny bow tie and a little blep of the tongue gets me every time!

Bedroom Mural inspired by Sleeping Beauty concept by Eyvind Earle
I was giving free range to paint a mural with trees in a bedroom. I was inspired by Sleeping Beauty concept art by Eyvind Earle in the 50s. My client wanted to give the bedroom a gentle, relaxing feel and I thought there was no better story to inspire rest than Sleeping Beauty!

Throwback with Tracey
One of my more challenging and exciting projects was bringing Tracey back to life for my friendās mom. She was the dog that belonged to his parents in the 1970s, and passed in 1980. He went digging through stacks of photo albums to find reference photos which, as you can see below, were quite grainy and discolored. This is my favorite time of year! The weather is cooler, everything comes in pumpkin flavor, and you can wear a costume almost every day without people questioning you! I had several opportunities to play with costume makeup this year, and of course we had some fun carving pumpkins. Happy Halloween, everyone!
