Intro:

hey, welcome to my page, i’m Sprout. i go by he/him pronouns, and am proudly trans and pan! i’m currently 21, and in uni, which is why posts are so slow right now.

i introduce you all to Wisp and Pastel! Pastel is Splodge’s older sister, who is also a twin with her brother Glitch. Wisp is Pastel’s girlfriend, who just kinda started following her around one day, and hasn’t stopped since

sometimes you have to have a toxic girlfriend that you love and hate in your life <3

Snap found Splodge in a garbage heap one day, all alone with their siblings out finding food for them. Snap’s mom ended up helping the 3 kids, and getting them adopted by her friends (Garrett and Brian). Splodge fell for Snap first, but didn’t realize how hard they fell until Snap got too close one day. Snap knew he always felt a certain way towards Splodge, but couldn’t name it until middle school. they are the healthiest relationship out of all my characters, and love each other dearly through all experiences

Splodge gets diagnosed with Bipolar 1, Persistent Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Excoriation (compulsive skin picking). They go through extreme mania bouts, and extreme depressive spells. Excoriation has been a major problem for most of his life, but the anxiety and bipolar symptoms make it harder to stop.

During one of the depressive spells, she ends up breaking up with Snap. Snap is heartbroken, and Splodge becomes a mess. They stop eating, stop existing, stop socializing and keeping up friends. Maybe just maybe, someone who wants them dead might be able to help with this.

silly ass Splodge and Snap drawings. i have given my characters official diagnosis’s because i can, and i’m a psychology major who knows what’s up. i’ll talk more about all of their mental health in a a later post

Ocean and Lola, they are very much in love, and head over heels for each other. extra character lore down below, if you wanna read (pls do)

after Ocean is finally home, tired from the fight, tired from hiding and running, she is always on guard still. her senses kept her and her allies alive, but they keep her going still, when all she wants is to finally lay down.

Lola was there for her before all of it started, before the event swept Ocean away from her. all she wants is for her favourite person to finally relax and rest, and she’s the only one that Ocean will let in now.

they get to be happy, but at what cost to themselves? to be scared without constant comfort, and to be constantly needed by someone who needs much more than you can give them, are both not easy tasks. hopefully they can get through it in the future

poor Splodge, he’s really bad at communicating what’s going on in her head, but all she wants to do is save their boyfriend. Snap just wants to help Splodge, be there for his partner, and comfort them, yet Splodge keeps pushing him away. so i drew them kissing to counteract that lmao

oh Scott my boy, maybe one day you’ll realize why it hurt so much when Vincent left. (some lore down below, pls read lol)

the first two images are a couple moments just before Vincent left. Vincent felt so much guilt in leaving, but he had to for himself. Scott was such a mess afterwards, it’s like everything in his soul was ripped apart, and he couldn’t figure out why. Fritz was his only sort of comfort during this time, since Mike and Jeremy were always together (and Mike sucks with emotions), and Scott’s dad was always working trying to keep the business afloat (after all, his business partners youngest son just disappeared from HIS house).

when Scott gets a lil older, into his teens, he’ll usually wonder around the city alone, thinking about the “what-ifs” and daydreaming about Vincent being alive. in a couple years he’ll find out why Vincent leaving took a part of him too.
