Before proceding to see my KH posts, please read this Dear fellow tudor fans and tudor historians ,

Just because you can't apply modern standards of wokeness to the tudors doesn't mean that

Sexual relations with minors and child marriage is okay

Irish attrocities that happened in Elizabeth's reign is okay

The black population being scapegoats for the widespread poverty and vagrancy and going to the point there was an attempt by Elizabeth to EXPEL them is okay

Genocide is okay

Slavery is okay

Anti-Semitism is okay

Sure, we shouldn't judge EVERYTHING by modern standards but the following acts mentioned here are way too immoral to give a free pass

You don't have to cancel Elizabeth and all the other Tudors but these facts must be acknowledged, not excused due to the time period these attrocities were set in or the situations that made people do this

It's fine to understand why they did it but you can't excuse them.

The whole point of history is to learn about the good AND the bad and both must be acknowledged. And please Trastamara fans, DON'T reblog this unless you acknowledge this YOURSELF
