Restart
It’s been a while since I’ve been on here and life has decided that some changes were necessary, so I’ve decided to do the same on here. While I will not delete the few posts that I put up before and my presence on here will not be that often, I do hope to atleast be on and post atleast once a week.
So.... Here’s to a fresh start...
it’s important to master blood magic and necromancy, so you can make use of the whole body
environmentally sustainable black magic
Remember, Necromancy is really just Advanced Recycling

The sand is going to look amazing under these lights!
Got the tank full and the filter running. I'll get sand in it over the next week or so and will hopefully start getting fish in not long after that!
Substrate advice
People of #FISHBLR, I need some advice. Our move had been completed and I’m ready to start up my 125G w/ Fluval FX6 filter again. My main plans for the tank are a small school of Glass Catfish and Striped/Spotted Raphaels, along with some other community fish. I’d like to use an easy to clean substrate. What types would #fishblr recommend?
More photos of Agamyxis pectinifrons, the Spotted Raphael. This is one attractive catfish that is mostly nocturnal. It is basically a beautiful, inoffensive fish capable of making croaking grinding noise that is audible, especially if the fish is outside of the water. It will eat prepared foods, as well as, frozen bloodworms. IMHO, this cute bumbling droll cat really relishes live tubifex and frozen bloodworms.
Striped and Spotted Raphaels are truly beautiful fish. I had 3 (2 Striped and 1 Spotted) in my last tank. My kids loved to watch them at feeding time

Black bullhead
Kryptopterus bicirrhis
The Glass Catfish (Kryptopterus bicirrhis) is an Asian glass catfish of the genus Kryptopterus. Until 1989, it included its smaller relative the Ghost Catfish, now known as K. minor. Its scientific name and common name are often still used in the aquarium fish trade to refer to the Ghost Catfish; as it seems, the larger and more aggressive K. bicirrhis was only ever exported in insignificant numbers, if at all.

I need all of these
listen, strange naked women emerging from fires is no basis for a system of government
I don’t watch much tv so this is either a game of thrones reference or I missed a big moment in the Hillary campaign
Endless list of aquatic creatures I’d love to keep:

Substrate is a pain!
Fishblr! What’s the best way to remove substrate from a large tank? I’ve shut down and drained my 125g to move out of state and I’m finding it difficult to get it completely cleaned out on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
After consulting Google and speaking with a couple friends, I found the solution! Shop Vac for the win!
