“Thus it is due to mercy from Allah that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you…”
[3:159] -
Sometimes when we want to advice people, or enjoin good and forbid evil, we tend to come across as rude and #harsh. We forget these are humans who have delicate hearts, emotions and #feelings.
The Prophet (ﷺ) never sugar coated the #deen but #subhanallah. He had such a profound way of dealing with people, correcting mistakes, etc. It was his #gentleness and soft nature that won people over. Even his enemies knew him to be #Merciful.
If you want to advice akhawaat and Ikhwaan, then think of your da'wah as a #gift. Adorn your advice in kindness and present it with graciousness so that they fall in #love with Allah. So that they inclined towards performing good deeds and the obedoemce to Allah.
Just know It is not upto you to guide for #guidance only comes from #Allah. So if they respond to your advice harshly then do not despair and #donotgiveup on people either. Because the Prophet (ﷺ) never gave up on anyone. He also endured rejection. Infact, all the prophets faced criticism and insults. They were even physically attacked, but they never quit. Because the value of spreading the deen outweighed the harsh pains they recieved.
Irrespective of the results, if we plant seeds of gentleness Allah will cause those very seeds to grow and become #beautiful gardens. #Inshallah
