I know life can get hard and gloomy, but those little things should push us to do better and remember to smile more often. I have a lot of anxiety and life takes a toll on me sometimes, but that’s why I have to remember all the things that make this life so extrordinary and beautiful.

This and also yesterday I was stuff in traffic on my way home do to the fires, and i was stuck on the bridge into town and the mountains at dusk were just SO beautiful and it was still windy but cool so I could smell the weed that's growing by the bridge, and a post Malone song was on and even though I was stuck in traffic it was the perfect moment.

For when people say they’re sick of seeing gay stuff everywhere. Suck it up. 4 years. 4 years. And that’s just on the books, it’s legal. It doesn’t stop shitty attitudes, actions, or straight up violence.

Not to fucking mention that while marriage might’ve been legalized, in many states there are no legal protections against numerous other forms of discrimination and those that do exist are often under constant legal assault.

And that’s not even getting started on new discriminatory laws being passed, particularly in regards to trans people.  So if you’re sick of it what you really mean is you’d rather we just not exist, so get fucked.

Why stop at “Gay Rights in America”? Change that to “Gay Rights” and just keep extending that red line backwards.
