Or, you know, your hands are made of stone.
Hey, I already told you I'm not stoned. Stone—d. [laughs] Get it?
You just put your bare hands on a burning hot pan.
I'm sorry — I tried looking for something to grab it with and I couldn't find anything.
It's fine though. I've got a high pain tolerance.
You have got to be stoned out of your mind right now… Holy shit, dude.
Uhh, no. I didn't smoke anything and even if I got spiked I don't feel stoned.
Why?
Or... May..be ...Not?
[removes a pan out of the oven with her bare hands, setting it on top of the stove with a grin on her face] Success!
I made extra if you want some. I think I finally perfected making these pizza bite things without burning them in this damn oven.
Sunny Road || Tango & Sylvie
Sylvie surveyed the street with Tango and luckily, it looked like they were no actual agents around. Unluckily though, there were cameras in every storefront and not that many people on the street to blend in with. She glanced at her wrist to check the time before remembering that she wasn’t wearing her watch, which had been broken a couple days ago. “Got the time?” She asked idly, noting every camera and its blind spots. There was a path they could take to avoid all of them, but it involved a lot of swerving and maneuvering that would look weird to vendors. They would have to go straight through, avoid looking directly at the cameras and hope no one, either on the street or watching through the cameras, found anything unusual.
"Don’t have a specific place, just figured we’d look around." Sylvie rooted around in her bag for some money. She would steal wads of it occasionally but most things she needed she would just take. Money wasn’t something she really worried about. It was a product of the Government, and she was well outsides the Government. More at odds really. "Alright, : She said, turning to Tango. "I say we just walk down the street, there are cameras but if we keep our heads turned we should be okay." Her search in her bag was fruitless and she winced at Tango. "Also, do you have money? Or are we just taking the easy route?"
Tango looked to her wrist at the digital watch that was fastened tightly to her wrist. It was always on her person for one reason — the timer. Every time she charged, she set it for the approximate amount of time she'd have before she would start showing the effects of a low charge. Acting drunk around the Killjoys wouldn't be a problem. The falling asleep and never waking up despite breathing that would. "It's 19:34. We've still got two hours and twenty-six minutes until curfew." Tango's voice came out almost a little too robotic, but she smiled at Sylvie after answering her question. At least Tango felt useful.
Avoiding cameras was always a concern for Tango, as they'd pick up her features immediately and send out multiple enforcement squads to pick her up for deactivation. Her hair was long enough, though that she could keep her head down and have her hair cover her features. She would just need to be careful. "Okay, that's fine with me." Tango gave a short nod and her expression remained serious at her last question. "I've got a couple silver and a handful of coppers. I don't know if that'll really get us enough though."

Gotta get used to it at some point, though. That said, I understand. We’ll probably just have to get you started with somethin’ smaller instead, I guess.
Uh, yeah... Smaller might be... Better...
Thanks for understanding.
Supplies. New guns, mostly.
Oh! Well, good luck, but no thanks. I'm still so new to all this, y'know? I'll just get in the way.
Thanks, but it’s still doing good.
You planning on joinin’ us on the raid Rizzo’s been talking about?
A raid?
A raid for what?
Right.
Well, I could go with you to see if Billy still has it, but we’d need some cash, or something to trade.
Really? I've got a couple silver coins still from where I sold some things a few days ago if you think that'd be enough.
Sorry, was it yours?
Found it in the heap of junk out back, all sandy – didn’t think it belonged to anybody.
No, it wasn't.
I've just been collecting and messing with things. It would have been nice to have.
… I sold it to Auto Repair Billy.
Or– traded it for some oil and a few cans of kibble.
... Well then.
Great. Okay.
Is for me.
That adorable little nerd knows everything.
Ok, but Garret, where is it?
Like what?
Even Adrian just stared at me when I showed it to him. Then asked me where I found it..
I don't know what, but I doubt Adrian is the end all be all of tech.
Tell me where you dumped it? Pretty please?
I threw it out.
Stupid thing was useless, anyways; short-circuited when I tried to use it to jump the battery on my bike.
And... Where did you dump it at? You never know, it could be useful for something else.
Wait, you did what with it?
