A logo design job that didn’t go anywhere.

Browser plugin “Earth View from Google Earth” loads a new image of Earth from space, in every new tab you open. All the satellite views of Earth are incredibly captivating and I screenshot them for a font-study. Point of this exercise was to explore different fonts until I find one that suits a specific environment & design them in a way that either matches or compliments the environment. Stumbled upon some ingenious font creators during this, all of whom can be found credited in the images. Enjoy!

DIY Hobo-Mug. All you need is an empty vegetable can and Home Depot’s plumbing section.

I had the idea while opening a can of garbanzo beans. So on the weekend I went explored the Home Depot’s plumbing section to see what I can use to execute it. The two worm gear straps and the copper tube strap, together, costed me about $5.

EDIT: A co-worker of mine schooled me about an industrial chemical called BPA. It is short for Bisphenol A and is used to coat the inside of these food cans. Be sure to use BPA-free cans to make your own Hobo-Mugs, unless you enjoy a hearty cup of BPA flavored coffee everyday.
