I don’t watch many (any, if I’m honest) K-dramas but this one looks genuinely interesting. Kingdom basically takes the zombie trope and puts it in old timey Korea. It doesn’t look to be very heavy-handed as far as zombie attacks and violence goes but it might be an interesting slow burner. You know, like the dramatic side of The Walking Dead. Coincidentally, the same premise and same backdrop is being used in Rampant, a Korean movie that gets an American release early next year.

Just as a warning, it is a little violent, some horses are killed during the battles, and there is a scene where Wentai cuts open his wrist. It is a very good movie, I just finished watching it and would recommend everyone watch it.
