I wanted to share the basic premise of my oddworld fancomic, officially titled:

So, first reveal: the albino slig has a name
His name is Julian, here is a quick mockup I did of baby Julian using some concept art, I just don't have any art rn to show but yeah he'll be going through a lot
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS ALL JUST THE PROTOTYPING, but yes I started work on the comic itself, also I'm bad at writing so I'm sorry for that preemptively
Btw, yes both my chronicler OC and my Slig OC Hammer will be in this comic. Oddworldtober has finally made me commit to my desire to write oddworld lore, now I feel brave enough to go for it.

And of course, Mulch The Mudombie will be one of the main characters. So you'll be getting a lot of time with his ugly mug.
I'll be using a hashtag to keep track of all future updates for this, idk if making a seperate blog for this comic is worth it but i'll consider it

I have an actual original webcomic I've been working on for like a decade now, but I think I can set that aside for a while, making this fancomic is something that can give me a way to learn how to do proper webcomic stuff, writing, art, give me a way to learn and get better (I hope) , and I love oddworld, so I do truly wanna give this story my best, and hopefully I'll learn, and be better equipped and better skilled for when I can start my oc webcomic, like, if, okay I'm getting too wordy I think but you get the idea right? this is like the smaller scale webcomic that'll be a bedrock for my oc passion project, but also this is also a passion project so both passions equal more heart bc I wanna put my whole Roseussy into this thing.
I hope to those reading this, that you'll join me on my train, climb aboard, grab a bottle of brew. I hope that you'll enjoy this ride, our destination? I'm unsure when and where it'll be, but that's just part of the journey, wherever this train goes, I'll do my best to keep things odd.
