i like the idea of lime and cyan interacting..

like accidentally knowing each other online first. cyan says something like "oh that reminds me of when i was on the OutsideBoxFreeThinkers forums and my friend unknowncylinder taught me all about the impacts of 5G networks on mate's vibrational frequencies and i started sleeping with rose quartz under my pillow and keeping my phone out of my bedroom"

and lime does a double take upon hearing their super anonymous username uttered aloud irl (picturing their lines getting all wobbly like in the animation) and spends a week shyly glancing at cyan across the room before looking away when cyan waves like hiii ^_^ and totally Not eavesdropping in the vents because that's their friend quartzlover24 they've known for like five years but never expected or planned to meet and was too afraid to share details about their personal life with.

idk they're similar in different directions. both conspiracy nuts but in different flavors. i think that lime's insecurity could be a nice match with the way cyan is kind and affirming to other crewmates, it'd be cute platonic or otherwise. and i think lime also could help cyan be more assertive of boundaries, like helping cyan speak up to black before they reach a breaking-down point. cyan actually seemed to take lime a little more seriously too -- "but their fear seemed so real/raw" or something like that if im remembering the show right.

lime is afraid of people while cyan is afraid of being alone... ironically i was thinking that while they may push each other deeper into the /x/ type rabbit hole in some ways, in others cyan just might actually encourage lime to like , talk to others and touch grass more. sort of like the appeal of the blime ship/friendship a little bit.

does anyone else see the vision.

still thinking about this. i think its interesting that despite being antisocial and pushing others away, lime is still *intensely* interested in other people, to the point of stalking and finding out secrets about them ("your little secret in oxygen! and your little book that traps people's dreams!")

but not even to like, blackmail or anything. lime just... reads people's diaries and finds out their habits and mannerisms because they love learning about people. they're so interested in other people, they really care about their social circles online, but also still so afraid of closeness. and that's so damn intriguing.

can you imagine that with like, wants to be super close friends with everyone cyan. come onnnn.
