i work for a major news corporation and one thing my manager beat into my head after I spent a week working until midnight every day was that I should log the fuck off because not taking my rest time negatively impacts productivity.

like late-stage capitalism hellscape aside (and i recognize this is a big fucking aside) it doesn't even make business sense to "hustle" 24/7, it's just a shortcut to getting burned out.
