Twilight brings a charm all of its own to Pulteney Bridge. Especially when the heat of the summer gives way to cooler temperatures beside the beautiful River Avon, it can be a wonderful relief and opportunity to enjoy Bath’s landmarks in a completely different way.

It's been a while since I've seen an Oast house for sale - Oast houses first appeared during the 16th century to dry hops for brewing, before being pressed, bagged and dispatched to breweries. . The Roundels in Offham, Kent, UK, was built around 1860, 5bds, 2ba, £1,400,000 \\ $1,880,060 approx. USD

Don't you just love the shape of the oasts where the hops dried?

These oast homes are always so beautifully converted into residences. Spacious, bright room.

This is so cozy and it has an original fireplace.

The best part is that the drying towers make round rooms.

Isn't this amazing, how they rounded these cabinets? They're so pretty, too. Love the green. I can imagine what it cost to put this kitchen in, w/the custom-fit cabinets.

You can figure out how it used to be, like this small hall from the work area where they bundled the hops, to the oast where they dried.

And, this is now a family room.

This is nice, a billiard room. The house is certainly spacious.

Winding stairs lead up to a bright 2nd level.

Stunning main bedroom. The levels, the round wall... so different.

Nice, big bath.

Cute smaller room.

Has a nice matching bath.

And, these 2 colorful round rooms are in the oasts.

This would make a perfect art studio, especially with the light from that big window.

And, look at this deck.

This is the adorable little guest quarters.

The grounds are beautiful. They have a garden and a greenhouse where they grow strawberries.

This weeping willow tree. The house I grew up in had a neighboring yard with a huge weeping willow. It was so beautiful. Then, the owner passed away, a new owner came along and chopped it down.

Lovely patio.
