The (Apocalyptic) Hangover
It was very irritating when the other children didn’t believe Warlock’s stories about Nanny’s huge pet snake. After all, he was giving them the sensible version, which was a hundred thousand times more believable than what he actually remembered.
me and manda finished s2 the other day and this is the consensus
we all know 2018 aziraphale uses a flip phone from 2003 right. we’re all clear on this
He has a very nice bakelite phone from around 1940 in the front of the shop, and a much older one in the back of the shop. They are rotary dial phones, of the kind that would need to be rewired to work with today’s exchanges. They have never been rewired and they still phone anywhere on Earth (and probably one place off Earth) perfectly.
I’m not entirely sure that he’ll ever approve of phones that aren’t wired in to the wall.
are you sure? cuz i kind of envision him being addicted to candy crush
god I strive for the confidence of asking the man who both wrote the book and ran the show if he’s sure

Do you know what the black ring thing around crowleys elbow might be?
Hiya! :) Might be sleeve garters :), he is being a shopkeeper now, after all :D <3
straight women need to start fetishising sapphic women so there can be more femslash fan fiction. we gotta outsource and get more writers on board. I want it to get to the point where two women cant be on screen together without having a 80k space opera fic written about them. I want show runners to be scared of cancelling sapphic shows because legions and legions of fans will come after them. dont tell me my priorities are wrong.
straight women, you have been summoned for yuri duty.
they aren't talking
but their wings still make a heart 🩷
Us when reading that variety article (X)
Wonder what new fandom-favorite phrase they're talkin' 'bout here (comic WIP pg 1/3 lol they figure it out don't worry)
I love Crowley because he's so aware of what Heaven, Hell, the world are really like, but he gently guides Azi through moral dilemmas and lets him find out harsh truths for himself, supporting along the way, but never forcing his opinions.
I love Crowley because he does little snort laughs and cheesy grins. He bounces around all silly-like, unabashedly himself. He has such an infectious smile.
Because his style is always changing, not because he wants to be with the latest fashion (he's always a bit behind) but because he loves exploring and experimenting with his looks.
Because despite millennia of being told he's evil, he's still a sweetie with a heart of gold.
Because he has a vast imagination and enormous will power. He's creative and adores human inventions, taking precious care of his Bentley for over 90 years.
Because he is so fiercely loyal and protective, not just of Azi, but of humans.
Because he's lived such a long, difficult life and he still finds so much joy in the every day, he's still an optimist.
Because he has endured immense abandonment and suffering, loss of identity, cruelty and fear - and despite it all, he's still kind.
Because he's immensely intelligent and wise and light-hearted and good.
Because even though he wouldn't believe it, he is so worthy of a happy ending.
There is such a special place in my heart for Crowley.
Can I watch?
idea: Crowley convices Aziraphale to start a tiktok channel ("Just for funsies, angel. To show your ah cooking skills!"), but then edits the videos to make them look as lasciviously as possible. You know...like That foodporn guy.
new niche just dropped
edit: there’s a pattern of something something wanting to protect their partners from what they know to be horrible
Nothing lasts forever... ___
ID: Digitially painted Good Omens fanart; a series of one long strip of images cut into smaller images. The first panel reads "Oh Crowley", all subsequent images depict Crowley during a different era. The first is him as we see him at the season 2 finale, the second at the season 1 finale, the third as he appeared in 1967, followed by him in 1941 holding the gun from the bullet catch scene, then we see him as he appeared in 1601, followed by how he appeared in 41 AD, next is him in 33 AD during the crucifixtion, followed by him dressed as Bildad the Shuhite in 2500 BC, second to last is his appearance in 3004 BC before the flood and finally we see him as he appeared on the wall of Eden. The long strip of images is followed by a series of images showing angel Crowley; initially without wings and by himself, before we zoom out to see Aziraphale first looking at him and then glancing away with a worried expression. End ID.
Even in the days of Babel, there were already some things Crowley understood a whole lot better...
This was inspired by a scene in one of my top favourite GO short fics, the exquisitely beautiful "All The Earthly Languages Which Ever Were Or Will Be" by Blossomwitch on AO3💖 (In the scene they sit and talk outside Babylon for a straight week without noticing the time pass; still, Crowley gets to grips with all the new languages a little quicker than Aziraphale…)
I can't convey how heartbreaking and simultaneously touching (and skillfully written) this fic about love and memory is!
(Actually this comic wandered away from the author’s story quite a lot, and I still think it's a bit sad! I may draw an alternate-fluff-ending page XD)

Can we talk about the fact that Aziraphale didn't pull away from the kiss? Crowley let him go, he does this unsteady bounce back.
Slowed down you can see it's almost like he was on his tip toes, the way he drops down and steps back. He's certainly capable of standing his ground, resisting any force Crowley might be putting into the grip on his coat. He was willingly being kept in place, and on his tip toes so Crowley didn't have to lean down so much.
Dare I say, encouraging? You wouldn't put both your hands on someones back if you wanted them to stop kissing you. Certainly wouldn't push forward into the kiss, look at how Crowley's head moves forward and then back.
