Remnants of warmth - Satoru Gojo x Fem!reader (fluff)
“Nooo, come hereee”
Satoru mumbled, gently wrapping his arms around your waist pulling you back down into his embrace, his face resting in the crook of your neck pressing small pecks into your hair
Muted daylight was shining through the opened window, letting in the misty cold morning air, causing the entire bedroom to feel oddly intimate.
“Satoru, I need to wash myself and make some breakfast“
“That can wait” he kept complaining, kissing up your neck while his warm fingers caressed the smooth skin right above your hips
His hair was messed up, and his demeanor still drowsy after the intense night you shared, perhaps he just needed more cuddles.
“You’re like the clingiest person I know”
“Am I? Or maybe I’m just hopelessly in love” he teased, drawing the blanket over you once more
“Satoru, if you don’t stop being so cheesy I swear I’ll—“
Not letting you finish your sentence, he just closed the distance, merging your lips together into a deep breathy kiss.
His hand settled on your jaw, keeping you in place as his thumb stroked your cheek.

Scalp scratches - Satoru Gojo x Fem!reader (fluff)
He didn’t say a word, dropping his usual arrogant mask at the door. Taking off his shoes and his leather coat, Satoru just slid down on the velvet couch right next to you, setting his head on your lap like a tired cat.
Gently pulling his black blindfold off, he tossed it onto the coffee table, turning his head to look into your eyes “baby? Can you please play with my hair? Today was an absolute mess, and I just want my head to quiet down”
“Of course, love, just close your eyes”
His eyes fell shut as your hand slowly tangled into his snow white strands. The moment the pads of your fingers began to massage his scalp, a long shuddering breath left his chest.
For the first time all day, the violent clarity of the world finally calmed down under his closed eyelids “right here” he murmured, his voice quiet, as he practically purred under your touch.
“Your hands are the only place where my eyes can truly ease down”
“Is that so?” you asked softly, your thumb lightly tracing his cheekbone.
“Yeah” he whispered, burying his face a bit deeper into your lap, hiding from the rest of the world.
“Don't stop”
“I like feeling like a normal man.”

Sneaking after midnight - Satoru Gojo x Fem!reader (18+)
“Shh baby, it’s alright, just keep it down, he’s not gonna hear anything.”
His fingers were shoved deep inside your mouth, pinning your tongue down, giving you no choice but to swallow your own moans as he moved inside you.
Satoru had sent you a text message earlier that night, suggesting you should sneak out of the girls dorms and come see him. Has he gone crazy? He shared a dorm with his roommate Suguru, they had separated rooms, yes, but the walls were basically paper thin. What if he heard us?
Texting you that Suguru was already asleep as well as apparently a heavy sleeper, and promising that you two would be quiet, he ended up convincing you. Sneaking from your own dorm to his, he opened the door, quietly taking you to his room.
Soon enough you were under him, as he gently took off your shirt, sliding the fabric over your head. Pressing his palm, he cupped your breast, his thumb playing with the nipple in a slow circular motion while you two kissed. Satoru’s lips trailed from your jawline to your neck, leaving hot, wet kisses all the way down to your collarbone.
His fingers caught onto the hem of your panties, pulling them off and throwing them somewhere on the bed. Moving his hand and softly spreading your legs wider for him, he unbuckled his belt to kick off his jeans. He was standing before you in just his boxers now, already visibly hard underneath before he discarded those too.
The mattress dipped as he crawled over you, closing the distance to kiss you again with his warm body covering yours. Taking his shaft into his hand, he teased your entrance, lining himself up. “Can I?” he asked, making sure you were okay.
Just nodding, he finally pushed in, slowly stretching you out. Starting off with a lazy, deliberate pace, he cooed, whispering into your ear, “Yeah, just like that, be a good girl for me and keep quiet.” His face buried in your shoulder, the silky strands kept on tickling your already sweaty skin.
Gradually he quickened his pace, making it really hard for you to stay completely silent. Unwanted sounds left your throat before you pressed your face into the pillow, but even that couldn’t help when Satoru was so fucking good at this.
Sliding his hand to your chin, he tilted your head, forcing you to look back at him, still rolling his hips just right to hit all the spots. “Let me help you with that” he said as his thumb traced over your lower lip, parting it with a tender press. At his coaxing, you opened your mouth for him to fill the space with his long, pale fingers.

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4
Packing your art supplies in your bag and throwing on a blazer, holding your portfolio you headed towards the main university exit.
It had been two weeks since school started after the long summer break that you made so many beautiful memories throughout, spending it together with Satoru. A whole year had passed since you met him back at the dumb rooftop, the thing was, you two kept the tradition going, still smoking up there almost every night.
Looking back, it was true you two kind of rushed it, getting together after like 10 days, and 7 of them not talking? Definitely an interesting choice, but you couldn’t have been happier with it. Satoru helped you a lot with your feelings, giving you a more optimistic view on life as well as warmth, something that you always longed for.
But also, it was borderline impossible to get bored with him. His brain was always fuming with absurd ideas making you wonder where exactly did the line between a genius and a total idiot stand, and which side he leaned toward.
And yet, that was also the guy who completely shifted your life, and not just emotionally, literally.
The reason behind your happiness during the first weeks, back to school was because you no longer had to study law.
Satoru was maybe a prick from business and management department and came from a snob family, but sometimes the money can come in hand. Unable to stand the way you parents treated you, he decided to lend you his own money to let you pay for your dream. Because the university had three departments, law, business and management, but also design, the one you always wished to major in.
Stepping outside the university building, walking down the stairs, you immediately spotted him. Satoru was leaning against the stone railing near the campus gate, wearing some black loose jeans and a jacket, hair messed up from the wind making him look pretty as usual. He was playing with his lighter while waiting for you.
Once he noticed you, that familiar lazy smirk appeared on his lips. Coming over to help you with your large portfolio, he tucked it under his arm, reaching out his other hand to cup your face, pulling you into a small sweet kiss.
“Hey, freshman” he teased carresing your face for a bit longer before letting go “need a big smart sophomore to walk you home?”
Just rolling your eyes at him, you suggested “I actually wanted to go to the park, before we go home”
“Oh? Why? Just for a walk?” Satoru asked curiously
“Well today we tried to do artistic stylization of birds, and looking at the photos of ducks, they were just so cute, I wanted to go and feed them” you told him sounding pretty excited
“And with what, love? I only have a sandwhich” he noted kind of amused
“A sandwich? Hell no, bread gives ducks angel wing syndrome, you should know that” you reminded him
“Whoah sorry” he apologized with a grin “so with what then?”
“I’ll go to a store and buy some oats, ducks can eat those” you told him
“Well then, lead the way”
Taking his hand, you both strolled down the street towards the store, the weather was pleasantly warm as the sun was shining past the clouds “so.. how was your day? Did you enjoy your classes?” Satoru asked interested, he really wanted you to be finally happy.
Nodding at his question with a sweet grin, you replied “it was nice, my classmates are super sweet plus I really enjoyed todays lessons, we even had two classes of 3d modeling”
Smiling to himself at your response he gently patted your shoulder “that makes me glad”
Arriving at the store, you both headed towards the baking aisle, deciding that’s probably where they would have oats. Looking at the packaging, you chose ones that had no flavor or added sugars, just whole oats “I think these will do.”
Also getting yourself something to drink and snacks, Satoru immediately stepped in front of the cashier, pulling out his card and paying for it at the checkout without even glancing at the small total on the screen. To him, it was a meaningless amount, but to you, it was just another quiet reminder of how effortlessly he took care of you now.
Tucking the oats into your bag, you both left the store, making your way towards the park
The park was quiet, the ground covered in dry leaves that crunched softly under your boots. You found an old wooden bench right by the edge of the water, where a few ducks were already swimming in circles
Satoru carefully set your heavy portfolio and art bags on the grass beside the bench before sliding down right next to you. His shoulder pressing warm against yours the second he leaned back, blinking down at the water with a curious thrilled focus, he seemed even more excited about seeing little ducks than you.
Opening the paper package, the dry rustling noise made more ducks slide off the grass and head straight toward your feet, their soft quacking filling the quiet afternoon air. You scooped a small handful of raw oats, throwing them gently into the shallow water. Satoru watched them gather, a soft, genuine chuckle leaving his chest.
“These ducks don’t even know, what kind of Michelin dinner they’re getting”
“You’re drooling more than them” you commented dryly, throwing the ducks some oats as they swam over
“Let me throw some too,” he said softly, leaning his shoulder into yours as he reached for the paper pack. He scooped a messy handful of oats, scattering them carefully across the water, his focus entirely fixed on the birds. “Awh, they’re so cute,” he murmured, his voice dropping into a soft tone that made your stomach flip
“Not cuter than you” you teased him, reaching up to ruffle his milky white hair
“hey!” Satoru complained with a laugh, a rosy blush creeping up his cheeks
Once the surface of the water had been covered by oats, you gently pulled Satoru back, sitting with him on the wooden bench “I think thats enough for them”
Reaching for your pack of cigarettes, you held them out so he can take one too “thank you”
You lighted your cigarette, handing him the lighter, but when he tried flicking it, it didn’t work. The small spark died instantly. “Ah, the lighter ran out of gas again. You’ll have to use your own.”
“I don’t want to use mine, to be honest” he muttered leaning in to light his cig off of yours
“Cigarette kiss?”
“Yeah” he just grinned inhaling the smoke, before breathing it out into the air, watching the ducks nibble at the oats
The sharp smell of tobacco smoke filled the small space between you. Satoru took a slow, heavy drag, leaning his body back onto the wooden frame of the bench. Without his dark glasses on, his gaze looked incredibly soft as he watched the white clouds of smoke disappear.
You watched him sideways, a tiny smile playing on your lips. He looked so relaxed, completely different from the frozen, shivering boy who had knocked on your door in the middle of a heavy rainstorm a year ago.
Laughing to yourself at the memory, Satoru turned to face you “hey, what’s so funny?” he asked confused but amused
“I just remembered how you knocked on my door completely drenched”
Snorting at your words, he remarked dramatically “oh come on now? I was so scared and now you’re making fun of me?”
Your expression softened looking at the cute ducks “I’m just being nostalgic”
“It’s true quite a lot happened since, for example, you becoming the freshman instead of me, I am now the big sophomore here, how the tables had turned, hm?” Satoru teased playfully.
“You’re acting as if that changes the fact I’m older” you joked back at him, but he just interlocked his fingers with you “I’m glad we got together y’know?”
“I love you” he murmured softy, squeezing your hand
“Don’t get too sentimental on me now” you nudged him “I love you too, Satoru”
I NEED HIM, someone please bring him to me I’ll pay well 🙏

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Epilogue
The wooden door of your apartment slammed shut with a violent crack. Dropping your heavy books onto the shoe cabinet without even caring if they slid off, you walked into the small room and collapsed straight onto your bed, burying your face into a pillow. On your way home, everything that’s been piling up just fell over you, and the fact that today’s shift had been an absolute disaster only stressed you further. You were crying.
On the table right across from you sat the empty, slightly greased cardboard box from yesterday’s pizza. A cruel reminder of the screwed up kiss.
What a joke. You had spent at least an hour staring blankly at your ceiling. You were used to it, lonely all the time before meeting him. For fuck’s sake, you had only known him for three days, so why was the loneliness suddenly ten times worse??
But being so miserable, a sudden wave of repulsion hit you. “Why am I being so pathetic? Over a guy too, come on.”
It was time to get back to your beloved hobbies and forget about that damn blizzard. Distracting yourself, you put on some random movie you pirated on your laptop just like you always did during lonely evenings.
Walking over to your little kitchen counter, you set the laptop on the dining table, making yourself noodles with veggies for dinner. Cutting some leftover garlic with cabbage, onions, carrots, and others, you slid it off the cutting board with the knife, right into the already sizzling frying pan.
The small apartment was soon filled with the savory smell as you quietly ate your noodles, immersed in the storyline of the movie.
This time you didn’t go up on the rooftop, because you had no business accidentally meeting Satoru since he lived right across from you. Instead, once you finished the film, you closed your laptop reaching for your pack of cigarettes.
Sitting on the window ledge, you lowered your gaze at the people strolling down the street beneath the night sky, lit up by the warm golden lamps. It was honestly a kind of comforting view, watching all kinds of people, everyone different, often thinking about how every single one had their own story, family, friends, memories, even a fate.
Satoru was at his apartment the whole day, not going to the house party nearby that his friends invited him to, he had no mood for that. Though the thought of you kept bugging him, he knew you were most likely thinking he didn’t mean it seriously with you, which frustrated him deeply.
He couldn’t just let you think that. Getting up from his couch, he put on some warm black jacket and boots, grabbing his cigarettes. Once ready, he opened the door, leaving his apartment.
Walking past your doorstep to reach the worn, chipped stairs leading to the rooftop felt like going around a crime scene. Closing his eyes and shutting that memory out as he went up the narrow staircase.
Pushing the roof entrance, he really hoped you would be there, well, you said you came here everyday… but not this time, it seems.
Satoru was quickly hit by the reality, the air outside was rather cold and you were nowhere to be seen. Was it because of him? Or maybe you were here before he came? But when approaching the ledge, the only ash stains were the ones from yesterday.
Sighing to himself, he decided to smoke there anyway, since he was already up, besides, the stars looked pretty tonight. However, he decided to not bother you today anymore, you were not here and that told him enough.
The following week turned out surprisingly peaceful for you. It was still the same blend of your grueling university classes with your afternoon cafe shifts up to your favorite nightly alone time.
Even though you still couldn’t shake off those suffocating thoughts and memories of Satoru, no matter how hard you tried. Sharing some of the mandatory courses and the same apartment building, same college, and even the school cafeteria, yeah, you just could not avoid him.
The tension was worsening with each passing day. Every shared class, you felt his gaze piercing through you across the entire amphitheater again, but turning to meet his eyes, he was already looking somewhere else. At times, he even looked more melancholic, too. Or were you perhaps just imagining things?
Despite that, every now and then, you still saw him surrounded by those shallow friends of his. Appearing to have quite a fun time, as if he had no worries at all.
You were even considering coming up to him and apologizing at some point. But your pride held you back. You just couldn’t handle the thought of being rejected and maybe even told that it all meant nothing. Deciding it might be better to build those walls around you all over again. Seeing that maybe being alone was better after all, no one can hurt you if no one’s close enough to.
Switching another CD in your thrifted record player, you danced around your little apartment, deep in your daydreams as you swung your hands in the air and glided your feet across the floor. Humming to yourself in a gentle rhythm of the song.
Finally reading the book you kept putting off, which had been collecting dust on your shelf for what felt like ages now.
Filling up another page of your sketchbook with all kinds of designs and ideas that you would have loved to bring to life one day, though as a law student, you did not have many doors opened to you.
Simply doing everything there was to keep yourself occupied. Keeping your mind off of him.
But your lovely family always took the perfect time to add fuel to the fire. Fresh from a soothing warm shower, you wanted to check the time on your phone, though something completely else caught your attention.
“Mom: 3 missed calls”
“Mom: 1 message”
“Y/n, pick up. Your father’s firm is hosting the annual partners charity gala next Saturday, and I need to know if you bought a proper dress yet. Please don't show up in those thrifted, oversized clothes you’ve been wearing lately. The managing partners and judges from the supreme court are all bringing their families, and it’s embarrassing enough that you insist on living in that awful part of town and working at a small cafe. Look presentable for once. Your father didn't build his reputation just for you to look like a charity case. Call me back.”
What a bitch. You were actually having a nice day and now this?
It had been seven days since the kiss, and just another evening after your cafe shift. This time it was raining. Heavy, cold drops hitting the pavement, just like the first evening when you met him ten days ago.
Sitting on the seat of the bus, you leaned your head against the cold window. You looked out at the streetlights, watching the rain fogging up the glass and blurring everything outside. But as the bus slowed down near the traffic lights, you saw someone on the sidewalk.
Through the rain, you noticed it’s a familiar figure.
It was Satoru. He was running through the downpour like his life depended on it, completely drenched. His white hair was messy and sticking to his forehead, and his dark jacket looked totally soaked. In spite of what was happening between you two and in spite of the whole week of silence, it was still a funny view anyway. A small smile appeared on your lips seeing him rush so much.
You got off at your stop and hurried fast to your building, before you get completely drenched as well. Stepping into your apartment, you headed instantly in the bathroom to dry your hair, they were sticking to your face and neck and it tickled really badly.
Once your hair was done, you put the hairdryer back into the drawer, changing into some of your comfortable home clothes.
But when you wanted to pick some food to eat you heard someone knocking on your door. It was a slow, hesitant knock.
Your heart skipped a beat. Walking over to the doorstep, you were sure it’s him. So when pulling the door open, you found it was indeed him.
Satoru was standing there in the dim light of the hallway. He was freezing, completely soaked from head to toe. Water was dripping from his white hair and clothes. He didn't have his dark glasses on. His blue eyes looked tired while looking down on you.
“Y/n” he said quietly. His voice hoarse from the cold rain. “I can't do this anymore. I really can't. I'm so sorry.”
You looked at him surprised not sure what exactly to say “uhh”
However, Satoru quickly spoke again “I’m sorry, really. I know what you think, and I know I gave you all the wrong pictures but I was genuine with you. And I don’t want a stupid mistake I made to ruin everything. I don’t want us to keep avoiding each other.” he apologized, his voice more serious than ever.
Not answering him yet, you just opened the door further, stepping aside so he can come in.
For the whole past week, you thought he was completely fine. You thought he was just another rich business guy who got what he wanted and then went back to his shallow friends to laugh at you. But looking at him right now, shivering as he entered your apartment, made your heart ache. He wasn’t fine at all. He was hurting just as badly as you were.
“It’s okay Satoru, I’m not mad at you. I’m also sorry, I shouldn’t have pushed you off like that” you admitted with a gentle smile
He leaned on the wall in front of you and smiled back “really?”
“Really.”
You looked at how wet he was and sighed, you didn’t want to send him to his apartment to change as the first thing you say, that would be kind of awkward “I can lend you some clothes if you want, you’ll get a cold like this”
Satoru’s cheeks warmed up at your word’s, that was the first time you saw him blush too “I’m fine, don’t worry, don’t give me your clothes”
Shaking your head you replied “well then go change into your own apartment, or you’ll really be sick” you still ended up saying it.
He rubbed the back of his neck but he went either way, listening to you.
When he was done and came back, he wore grey shorts and a black shirt. Sitting him on the couch, you offered making him some tea and he nodded “sure, I’d like that, thanks”
Strangely enough, the mood was cozy as the steam rose from your mugs and the cold rain drummed against the window pane. You averted your gaze from the window back to him. Satoru was staring down at his warm tea, his long fingers wrapped around the ceramic mug. He was really pretty, way too pretty for his own good.
“Thanks, for not locking me out” he muttered softly, breaking the silence as he raised his blue eyes to meet yours. The vulnerability in his gaze made your breath catch in your throat.
You set your mug down on the table next to the couch, your heart suddenly beating wild against your chest. The week of agony was over, and having him this close was dizzying. “I didn't want to lock you out, Satoru.”
Satoru also set his own mug down on the table, his eyes never leaving yours for a single second. The cozy silence of the room vanished, replaced by a sudden, thick tension that made your skin tingle. He slid closer to you on the couch and before you could even blink, his long, warm fingers reached out, gently cupping your jaw. His thumb brushed over your lower lip, shivering slightly.
“Y/n” he breathed out, his voice dropping into a whisper that sent a shiver straight down your spine. “I missed you. Please, don’t make me regret it again”
You didn't answer. You couldn't. Your fingers instinctively tangled into the soft, strands of his milky white hair. With a sudden pull, you tugged him down over you. Satoru let out a shaky breath as his balance shifted. He didn’t fight you. He just let his form slide over yours, his long legs settling around your thighs, pinning your body down into the soft cushions.
The moment his lips finally hit yours, the entire world just stopped. The cold rain, the toxic text from your mother, the grueling week of suffocating silence, it all vanished, burned away by the intensity of his mouth. It wasn’t a gentle kiss. It was desperate, heavy with the feelings you both had been hiding for the past seven days.
You groaned quietly against his mouth, your hands moving from his hair down to his broad shoulders, holding onto him like he was the only thing left in the room. Satoru shifted his weight, his palms moving from your jaw down to your hips, gripping your skin right above your shorts. He kissed you deeper, his tongue sliding against yours in a way that made your head spin.
He tasted like the warm black tea. You tilted your head back, letting him take everything he wanted, your chest heaving against his as you both tried to breathe through the kiss. You couldn't get close enough to him. Your bodies were pressed tight together on the couch, every single inch of your skin tingling.
Slowly, Satoru broke the kiss, his lips leaving yours with a soft, wet sound that echoed in the quiet apartment. His breathing was completely ragged, his chest rising and falling fast against yours. He didn't open his eyes yet, his forehead resting against yours for a short second while his thumbs brushed over your hips.
Then, he began to move down. His warm lips brushed against your chin before finding the sensitive skin of your neck. He kissed his way along your jawline, his mouth hot and damp against your skin. You let out a gasp, your head pressed onto the pillow, your fingers digging tight into the black fabric of his shirt as his teeth gently grazed your collarbone.
“You’re driving me crazy” he muttered against your throat, his breath burning your skin.
Without waiting for an answer, his large hands slid up from your hips, his fingers brushing against your shirt. He grabbed the bottom hem, lifting the fabric up. You raised your arms, letting him slide it over your head and toss it somewhere onto the floor.
Satoru pulled back just a bit, his blue eyes full of desire as he looked down at your bare chest in the golden light of the room. His cheeks were still slightly flushed, his messy white hair falling into his eyes, fluttering against his eyelashes as his gaze traveled over your skin. There was no hesitation left in him, only a quiet need that made you feel completely exposed, yet safe under him.
Sliding his hands up your ribs until they finally cupped your bare breasts. An uneven exhale left your lips as he leaned his body down, his soft lips brushing against the aching nipples. He began to kiss them, dragging his tongue slowly over your sensitive skin in a lazy, teasing rhythm that made your lower stomach tighten with an abrupt ache.
Your fingers dug deep into his shoulders, your back arching off the couch cushions as he sucked on them, his hot breath making you shiver all over again. He was taking his time, marking your skin with a hungry need, making sure you felt every single touch of his mouth after that agonizing week of silence.
Not rushing himself, his lips left your chest, trailing down your stomach, leaving a path of fiery slick pecks that made your mind blank. His hands slid down to the waistband of your shorts. Hooking his fingers under the fabric, dragging your shorts and underwear down your legs. You lifted your hips up just a bit, letting him pull the clothes completely off your ankles.
Without a word, Satoru gripped your bare thighs, his thumbs digging into your skin with a craving force as he slowly repositioned your body on the couch. He dragged you forward until your lower back was right at the edge of the couch, forcing your legs to open wide and hang over the side. The cool air of the apartment hit your exposed skin, making your breath hitch in your throat, but the chilly feeling didn't last long.
Satoru slid down from the couch, dropping onto the floor between your thighs. He sat on his knees on the cold ground, his broad shoulders fitting perfectly between your opened legs. He glanced up at you, his cheeks rosy and his hair rumpled, he looked so damn sexy.
His large palms slid up from your knees, smoothing over the inner skin of your thighs, gently pushing your legs even wider apart. He leaned forward, the soft brush of his exhale hitting your core just a second before his mouth finally closed the distace
The heat of his tongue hit you, making you arch against the couch. Satoru didn't waste any time, his hands slid up to grip your hips to hold you steady as his mouth closed over you completely.
You let out a loud, broken gasp, your fingers instantly flying to his messy white hair, pulling him closer as your back curved off the pillows. He began to lick you, his movements deep and wet, dragging his tongue up and down your sensitive center until your head was spinning.
The room was silent except for the noise of his mouth against you as every single nerve in your body was on fire. Satoru groaned quietly against your skin, moving his head closer, teasing your folds and sucking on your clit, making you cry out loudly.
You couldn't stay still. Your hips twitched against his mouth, trying to find even a little more friction, but his grip on your waist was really strong, keeping you pinned to the edge of the couch. He knew exactly what he was doing. His tongue started flicking against the aching bud with precision that made your knees weak. Your hand in his soft strands, pulling and scratching at his scalp.
“Satoru” you gasped out, your voice cracking. “Shit, who taught you that?”
“Oh, don’t worry about it baby, saw a documentary about deep ocean diving” he murmured against your slick core.
“they said when you go that deep, you have to control your breathing, move slow, and learn how to survive when you're drowning“
Rolling your eyes but this time not at the sensation but at him, you pulled on his hair harder “ur ridiculous”
He didn't stop. Instead, he slid two of his fingers inside your wet heat. A sloppy sound could be heard as he pushed deep into you, stretching you open, fingers curling, while his mouth continued to eat you out without a break. The double sensation was overwhelming. You bit your lower lip until it bled, your head tossing from side to side on the pillow, trying to swallow the loud screams that wanted to leave your throat.
His fingers moved in and out of you, matching the pace of his tongue. The friction was building up so quickly, a wave of intense pleasure came over you. Satoru glanced up at you for a split second, his blue eyes cloudy with desire, his snowy eyelashes fluttering as he watched your ruined face.
That was your breaking point. The tension finally exploded with an orgasm ripping through your entire body. Your walls tightening around his fingers as you whimpered out, thighs trembling.
Satoru didn’t let you rest for long. Before you could even catch your breath, he slid his hands under your back and knees, lifting your body off the couch. He moved, carrying you toward your bed. You hooked your arms around his neck, burying your face into his hair until he gently laid you down onto the mattress.
The sheets felt cold against your hot skin. He stood up straight for a second right next to the bed, his eyes focused on you. Without a single word, his hands moved to the waistband of his grey shorts, shoving them and his underwear down his legs and kicking the clothes away onto the floor.
He crawled over you, his body covering yours while he settled his hips between your open thighs. Satoru didn’t hurry. He placed his hands on the mattress right beside your head to keep his weight from crushing you.
You looked up as his face hovered only inches above yours. Satoru leaned his body down, his lips immediately locking onto yours again.
Once his mouth left yours, he moved down to press a few kisses along your jawline and your neck. shifting his weight, his long thighs settling between yours, pushing your legs wider apart. Satoru reached down, locking his fingers with yours on the mattress, squeezing your hand tight until your knuckles turned white.
He didn't enter you right away. Staying above you, his eyes watching over your face. He leaned his hips forward, stroking his hard length against your entrance. The slippery friction of his skin against yours made a soft, moist noise that caused your face to redden.
Lining himself up right at your entrance, his muscles tight with restraint as his tip teased your sensitive cunt.
“Look at me” Satoru whispered.
You forced your eyes open, looking straight into his. He was staring down at you with a focus that made your heart skip a beat. Once he saw you looking back at him, Satoru moved his hips forward and slowly pushed all the way inside you.
You inhaled harshly, as the sudden fullness hit you, a deep, aching sensation that forced your core to twitch around him, but he didn't move yet. He stayed still for a few seconds, letting your body adjust to his size, his fingers squeezing yours “relax baby, loosen up your body” he murmured sweetly
Then, Satoru began to move. He pulled back, almost out, before pushing straight back in. The movement was steady and intense. A small whine left your mouth with every single thrust. He kept a gentle pace, treating and holding you as if you were porcelain.
His eye contact was intense, he never looked away. He watched every small change on your face, every time you bit your lip, every time your breath caught, or your vision blurred. He wanted to see everything, captivated by how vulnerable you looked under him.
You lifted your legs, wrapping them around his waist to pull him closer, and Satoru let out a low groan into your hair, his lips pressing a soft kiss on your head as he kept pushing into you, deeper and slower, until the heat between your thighs consumed you both.
The pressure inside your stomach reached its limit, becoming almost unbearable. Satoru felt the change in your body immediately. His blue eyes widened, settled on your flushed face as his movements lost the lazy pace. His hips began pushing into yours way faster, your legs tightening around him. He lowered himself, burying his face into the side of your neck to hide his ruined expression.
Sweat sliding down his skin, his muscles trembling under your fingers as he tried to hold it. He was letting go of his control, shifting himself in and out of you over and over.
With one last, deep thrust, you finally climaxed. A breathless sigh escaped you as a wave of pleasure pierced through you, your walls clamping tightly around his length. Satoru let out a moan directly into your ear, spilling his heat inside. His heavy body finally collapsing over yours in the quiet room.
Wrapping your arms tenderly around him, you drew him closer, resting your forehead on his sweaty shoulder
Satoru hugged you back just resting for a bit before pulling out and laying down on the plush matress beside you
“Sooo… are we dating now? Or what?” You asked a bit amused
“Maybe? I don’t know” he answered rolling over on his side to look you in the eyes, a playful grin appearing on his lips “but I don’t think I would mind if we were”
Guyyss what do we think of dancer!Suguru x dancer!reader both at a dance academy?? And reader comes from an elite ballet family with a prima ballerina mom and Suguru comes from a normal family and only got into the academy due to pure talent, though he has mental health problems. Reader and Suguru get assigned as a dance pair and have to work really hard because an audition for a big dance role is happening and reader’s parents are pushing her to get the role so she carries their legacy. Plus they don’t like Suguru since he isn’t from a well known ballet family and has those problems and they are scared he might drop her when dancing etc and it would just be kinda messy 😛

Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 4 Epilogue
The soft, fading light of the late afternoon hit the ground, shining past the trees that lined the pavement. Long shadows of the brick buildings stretched across the road, creating shifting patches of light and dark.
Making your way through the busy street, you tried to keep up with his pace as Satoru offered to walk you home. You had wanted to go by bus like usual since your place was a bit far, however, seeing the absurdly low balance in your wallet, you came to the conclusion that it might be better if you didn’t.
This day’s shift had been pretty hectic and all of the pastries managed to sell out, meaning there were no leftovers for you to steal home either. You were genuinely cursing your entire bloodline internally in the moment, the cruel reality about your parents clawing its way back to you. It was just so unfair how you had to live so carefully, having to think about every single expense due to your parents' refusal to help.
“Hey, I was thinking... maybe I could get us some pizza and drinks so we could eat it on the rooftop? How does that sound?” Satoru offered, giving you a little grin.
The question completely threw you off guard, especially when you were already mentally debating what you were even going to have for dinner. But trying to stay polite, you decided to decline. “That sounds nice, but I don’t want you spending money on me” you answered, though giving him a faint smile back.
“Oh, come on, I could see you practically drooling just at the idea,” Satoru teased lightheartedly, bumping his shoulder into yours. “You’re acting as if I need to save up like you do.”
Rolling your eyes at him, you shot back sarcastically, “Stop flexing that you aren’t broke. At least I’m actually employed.”
Satoru clasped his hand over his heart dramatically, his eyes widening. “Are you implying I’m unemployed?”
“You are.”
Satoru’s soft laughter echoed all around as you both walked down the street, the moment feeling surprisingly sweet. Birds were flying around, chirping while the soft breeze hit the trees, the leaves rustling and falling down under your feet. Stepping down on them with each step, the air still carried the lingering warmth of the afternoon city.
“So, what was the pizza you wanted again?” Satoru asked, standing in front of the takeout window of the pizzeria with his wallet already prepared in his hand. He ended up buying a large pizza along with two bottles of cider.
After leaving the small business a generous tip, he grabbed the pizza box and the drinks. To help him out, you quickly slipped the two glass bottles into your purse so he only had to carry the box.
It felt slightly bittersweet. On one hand, you felt nice, after a long time, you felt like someone actually enjoyed your company and actively sought it out, even though you had tried to protect yourself by pushing him away at first. But if someone was being this endearing, could you really resist?
Something inside you was still a little anxious. You wanted to trust him so much, yet you couldn’t just easily get over your lifelong trauma with your family and loneliness. You just needed a little more time to get to know him better, and everything seemed to be on a good path.
Arriving at the doorstep of the apartment building, even with a pizza box in his hands, he still managed to hold the heavy door open for you. “Oh, what a gentleman” you responded teasingly, while he just grinned back at you.
Walking you up to your apartment that was right across from his, he leaned against your doorframe.
“Leave your things inside and maybe change into something more comfortable. I’ll pick you up at 20:15, you cool with that?” Satoru suggested.
Nodding, you agreed and entered your apartment, closing the tall wooden door behind you. You couldn’t help but smile to yourself. Were you really that lucky? That you had caught the eye of such a kind and good looking guy?
Dropping off your purse on the shoe cabinet, you walked over to your closet and picked out something comfortable, yet cute. Once you finished dressing, you walked back to the front door, pulling the two glass bottles out of your bag and reaching for your pack of Lucky Strikes like usual.
A soft knock could be heard just as you did so. Opening the door, you found Satoru standing in front of you with the pizza. Changed into a black jacket and some wide blue jeans, he looked pretty damn nice.
“Heyy, are you done?” Satoru murmured.
With the cider bottles along with the cigarettes already resting in your hands, you stepped out and replied “Yeah, I am.”
“Well then, let’s go” he said, his voice energized. It was as if his energy was pumping right into you too, he seemed to really look forward to this, which only flustered you more.
Going up the stairs together towards the large metal doors and unlocking them, you both sat on the cold concrete ledge. Because there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky today, the sun didn’t bleed into its usual heavy red sunset. Instead, golden stripes of light reflected on the roofs of the buildings around, creating a nostalgic mood as the sky gleamed in beautiful amber light.
The pizza box was placed right between you and Satoru. As he lifted the cardboard lid, a wave of thick, hot steam with a rich scent tinged with herbs and sweet tomato aroma started flowing into the air. Your stomach literally growled at the smell, a sharp reminder of how little you had eaten throughout your busy day.
Opening the ciders, you tapped your glasses together, a quiet chime echoing around. “Cheers!”
Satoru took a sip of his cider, letting out a satisfied sigh before leaning back on his elbows. He reached into his black jacket, pulling out a sleek black box of Marlboro Black Menthols along with a silver lighter.
“Mind if I light one?” he asked playfully, though he was already flicking the lighter.
“Really? Marlboro Black Menthol? Do you always need to be extra?” you commented dryly, grabbing your own pack of Lucky Strikes to light one too.
“At least this time you actually have your own.”
“Oh, come on, I just like the sharper, minty tone” he defended himself, taking a long puff from the cigarette and breathing the smoke out, the golden light beautifully catching on it.
Smoking together for a moment, just enjoying the comfortable mood, you reached out to take another bite of the pizza.
“You see, I’m kind of curious, what things do you even like? We never really talked about it” Satoru mentioned, interested.
“Like movies? Or music? Or?”
“Yeah”
“Well, I’m into all kinds of music, don’t really have a specific genre, I do like alternative music overall, I’ve been collecting CDs from secondhand stores for a while now, I even thrifted a small record player” you answered taking another puff of the cigarette and tapping the ash off.
Satoru paused, his cigarette hovering halfway to his lips as he looked at you. A slow gentle smile spread across his face, lowering his sunglasses just enough for you to see his eyes “damn, sounds cool, everything thrifted? Well can’t be too surprised given your budget” he playfully blinked.
You gently elbowed him back with an expression full of sarcastic disbelief “you really won’t shut up about me being broke, will you?”
He just snorted at you “maybe I won’t? But I wouldn’t mind you taking me to some secondhand stores one day, hm?” he suggested “never been to one before”
“Cause you never had to”
Still with that cute smile on his face he noted “but you haven’t told me what movies you like?”
You took another slow drag “I like those old, gritty nineties films. The ones with sharp dialogue, dark humor, and cool soundtracks. Where the whole color palette is dark and muddy”
Satoru let out a low whistle, an amused smirk tugging at his lips as he knocked the ash off his cigarette. “Oh? No cheesy romcoms?”
You just smiled at that “never said I don’t like that too, I simply don’t have one specific genre, I think each has its gems”
“That’s true, I like the way you look at it, you really are cool, y’know?” Satoru complimented, gazing back into the scenery of roofs.
Your face getting a little warmer at the compliment, letting out a quiet breath “thank you” you gave him a grateful smile “you too”
“Am I? Hits hard coming from you” he teased you again.
“But what things are you into? Satoru”
Talking for at least three hours straight, you quickly realized that despite coming from completely different worlds, you were much more similar than you had expected. The beautiful amber sky slowly turned into a deep night, the stars finally cutting through the darkness above the rooftop.
With every shared cigarette, every slow sip of the cider, every bite of the pizza and every word, that heavy, protective wall you had built around yourself for years was chipping away, piece by piece. Sitting on that cold concrete with a guy actually felt comfortable. It wasn’t awkward. There was no pressure to say the right thing, no heavy tension hanging between you. You felt safe. You felt understood. To you everything was going too good to be true.
Satoru took a final, deep drag of his like fourth Marlboro of today. The cigarette lighting up the sharp lines of his face for one last second before he dropped it and crushed it under the heel of his shoe. The sudden cold breeze of the night carried across the roof, cutting through the fabric of your clothes and making you shiver slightly.
You glanced down at your phone, confirming for yourself that it’s really late, way past the hours you usually allowed yourself to stay up.
“We should probably head back down” you murmured, your voice soft in the stillness of the night.
“Yeah” Satoru replied, his usual playful energy softening into something calm and relaxed. “Don’t want you freezing to death out here.”
He stood up first, stretching his legs with a lazy yawn before offering you a hand. You hesitated for a split second, then took it, letting his warm palm pull you up from the concrete. As soon as you were back on your feet, you dropped your hand to your side, though the remaining warmth of his touch stayed on your skin.
Together, you gathered the empty pizza cardboard and glass bottles of the finished ciders into your hands. Satoru reached out, twisting the heavy metal handle of the rooftop door and pushing it open with a low creak that lingered down the empty stairwell.
Walking down the dimly lit stairs together, the shift from the chilly night air back into the narrow corridor of the apartment building felt strangely heavy. The air inside carried that familiar smell of old wood, floor wax, and clean laundry. You walked in a comfortable silence, the sound of your boots against the stairs filling the quiet space between you.
When you finally arrived at the doorstep of your apartment, you stopped, turning your back to the tall wooden door and facing him. Satoru leaned against the doorframe right across from you, his white hair messy from the rooftop wind, staring down at you with tired eyes.
The moment between you felt oddly intimate, the tension from the past three days built up as you both gazed into each other’s eyes.
You couldn’t help but stare, he was absolutely majestic after all, and you were too worn out to care. You felt so satisfied inside, it was like you two just clicked together, never running out of topics throughout your earlier conversation.
Satoru felt himself getting lost in your eyes, wondering about how he’s fallen for you so hard at this point, and it’s been only three days…
Leaning closer, his hand softly cupped your cheek as he closed the distance, pulling you into a kiss. The atmosphere felt so perfect for it… right?
Freezing at his sudden closeness and closure of the distance, your inner avoidance came back again, this was too fast, you weren’t prepared, you can’t.
Startled, you pressed your palms to his chest quickly pushing him off. Drawing in a sharp breath, eyes widened you stared at him, entirely still… what did you just do?
Satoru blinked, his large, warm hand still frozen mid-air where your cheek had been just a second ago, looking completely lost as the playful smirk was instantly wiped from his face. His bright, lovely eyes widened in pure, unmasked horror and a sudden, burning flash of quiet hurt, staring down at you. His shoulders dropping slightly as he slowly lowered his arm back to his side, his jaw clenching in a desperate, silent attempt to swallow the raw wave of rejection that was currently tearing through his chest.
Unable to say anything, paralyzed by what happened you just looked down, refusing to meet his eyes due to how embarrassed you were of yourself “I’m sorry… I’ll go now” you forced out before getting lost behind the tall wooden door.
He just stood there frozen as millions of painful thoughts kept running through his head, his stomach dropping. Oh, you’re such a fucking idiot, Satoru. You knew how much she was dealing with. You knew about her cruel parents and the crushing loneliness she had to carry. And you still got carried away.
Making his way back to his apartment, he felt the worst kind of regret, terrified that he might have hurt you. Why had he rushed so much?
He walked into the bathroom, splashing cold water on his face, and just staring blankly at his reflection. What was he supposed to do now? He had finally met someone he genuinely connected with, someone nothing like his shallow friends and he ruined it like this? He felt like the biggest idiot, and worse, sleazy. What if you thought he hadn’t meant any of it, that he only wanted something from you? How are you feeling now…?
Pressing your back into the door and sliding down until you hit the floor, you pulled your head down to your knees. What the hell did you just do? Everything was going so well… he leaned in to kiss you, and you pushed him away. How is he feeling now…?
Tears breaking out, you cried quietly against the door, the salty drops running down your face, you felt so damn stupid, it was unbearable.
The next thing you knew, you were sitting in the back row of a lecture hall, staring blankly at the whiteboard as the professor’s voice blurred into a useless background hum. It was Thursday morning. The transition from that messy, crying heap on your apartment floor to the reality of another draining university day felt completely surreal. You hadn’t slept at all, your eyes felt heavy and raw, burning from the salt of your midnight tears, and your brain was completely fried, running on nothing but pure adrenaline and a dangerously high amount of black coffee from the school's automat like always.
Every single second of the night had been a slow, agonizing torture. No matter how hard you tried to push it down, your mind kept replaying those few seconds in the dim yellow light of the hallway. The warmth of Satoru’s palm on your cheek, the soft pressure of his lips, and then the terrifying, violent rush of panic that made you ruin everything.
You felt like a total hypocrite. Half of you was absolutely terrified that you had hurt him, while the other half was selfishly suffocating under the weight of his absence.
If there was one small mercy about this miserable morning, it was your schedule. You didn't share a single class with Satoru today. There were no shared seminars, no shared lecture rooms where you would have to endure the weight of your actions right in front of him. You didn't have to look at him, and worse, he didn't have to look at you.
When the loud school bell finally rang, signaling the end of the morning lectures, the sudden burst of noise felt like a physical slap to your tired brain. Gathering your heavy books into your arms with a shaky sigh, you stood up and walked out of the classroom, stepping directly into the chaotic, loud, and crowded hallway.
Deep in your heart, you had secretly hoped that maybe Satoru was also this devastated. That you’d see him, and he’d come up to you, and things would be okay again.
Suddenly, Satoru’s voice caught your attention, though it didn’t sound sad at all, very far from it, actually. Turning around, your eyes locked onto him in the crowd of people. Satoru was back with his business friend group, the very ones he had called superficial, the ones he said he shared nothing genuine with. Yet, there he was, laughing out loud without a single bit of visible sadness, goofing off.
Was this all just one big joke to him? You knew you shouldn’t jump to conclusions, but how could you not? You had a hard time even dragging yourself out of the classroom, and then you see him looking so damn jolly? Like nothing had happened? Was any of it even genuine? But it felt too true to be a lie.
Then, Satoru glanced away from his friends, his eyes locking on yours. His chest tightened at the cold expression you watched him with, oh no, this isn’t good.
He had such a hard time keeping up his unbothered facade the whole morning, he was just as devastated and tired as you due to a sleepless night full of regrets and now on top of that, he managed to give you all the wrong pictures. But before he could even move an inch, you were already gone out of sight.

Chapter 1 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Epilogue
Enduring yet another horrible day at your college, you were already exhausted. The deep fatigue built not only from the total lack of sleep following your midnight rooftop session, but also because you had been forced to spend your morning writing a brutal, three hour exam straight into a Blue Book.
Your right hand was still hurting from the absolute torture of pressing the pen against the paper for hours, leaving a painful red mark on your middle finger. The tiny, blue exam booklet had been filled with your messy, rushed analysis of complex law cases, and by the time you finally handed it in to the professor, your mind felt completely blank.
The university wide mandatory course for English right after that was just adding fuel to the fire. Sitting in the very last row of the large university amphitheater, your warm hoodie pulled tightly over your head, you prayed for the clock to move faster. Your eyes burned with every blink while your entire body was feeling heavy and drained.
Clutching a cup of bitter black coffee from the school automat, you desperately tried to regain some energy before the lesson started. Your English notes were opened on the table in front of you, and you decided to look through them, knowing all too well that the professor loved to catch everyone off guard with unplanned tests.
You just wanted to remain invisible, just another in a crowd of hundreds of students. But the quiet peace of the hall shattered the exact moment the front doors creaked open, letting in a group of the first years from the business department. All the rich, extroverted morons who just went with the flow, gliding through life on pure charisma and the wealth of their parents.
And right in the middle of them, effortlessly catching the attention of every girl in the room, was a familiar mop of snowy white hair.
Letting out a quiet sigh to yourself, you quickly glanced away from him. You forced your eyes back down to your notebook, staring at the text while checking the time on your phone, seeing the lesson was about to start in three minutes.
Satoru lazily looked around the crowded amphitheater, his sharp gaze cutting through the room until his eyes finally locked onto you. Watching you read through your notes with that warm hoodie pulled over your head and your hair falling softly down your face, a quiet thought crossed his mind. Yeah, you were gorgeous.
His friends headed straight toward the back rows as well, but unlike you doing it to find some peace, they did it simply to look cool. Oh, they were pissing you off. The university had recently started combining multiple departments and years for basic classes like English to save up time, but for you, it only meant that the business and management students would be loud and obnoxious right behind you, forcing your head to ache even worse.
And on top of it all, you could feel Satoru’s intense eyes piercing through you for the whole lesson. You tried your absolute best to ignore it, but it wasn’t easy. Whenever your eyes involuntarily darted back to him, he was already staring right back at you. The worst thing was he didn’t even have the decency to look away. He just kept smiling at you from across the rows, looking as if he was enjoying your irritation.
About twenty minutes into the incredibly dry lecture, the professor turned his back to the amphitheater, furiously writing grammar rules onto the whiteboard with a black marker.
Suddenly, a tiny movement in your peripheral vision caught your attention. Before you could even look up, a small, tightly folded paper triangle glided through the air across the class, landing with a soft click right on the side of your head.
You furrowed your brows, your hands freezing over your pen for a moment. Without thinking you glanced to the side. A few desks away, Satoru was sitting leaning back in his seat. A black pen was balancing between his long fingers, and the moment he caught you looking, his confident, smug smile widened as he gave you a slow, teasing wink.
Your heart made a strange, uncomfortably warm thud against your ribs. Turning away from him with a deep frown, you unfolded the piece of paper, your eyes scanning the messy handwriting scribbled across the note.
“I bet you didn't hear a single word because you're too busy pretending you don't feel me staring. Relax, need another cigarette and my company to calm you down?”
A sudden wave of burning heat rushed straight to your face, a mix of pure irritation and a strange fluster you still refused to acknowledge. Tightening your jaw, you crumpled the note in your fist until the paper crushed into a tight ball, shoving it deep into the pocket of your hoodie.
Who does he think he is? Yesterday he interrupted your peace smoking on the rooftop and now he’s acting even more smug. Yesterday he was at least sweet. Well, in his own way, but whatever. It made you spiral a little bit. Was he trying to impress his friends? Maybe you were a bet? Well, you weren’t exactly popular, not that you were a weirdo or something, just very introverted and quiet.
The moment the bell rang after what felt like forever, you packed your things as soon as possible, rushing out of the class. Your morning lessons were over and no other classes were mandatory or needed for you. Instead, you had another afternoon shift in the cafe.
Getting to your locker, shortly all of your books were back on the shelf and you were dressed and ready to go, until a shadow cast over you. You felt yourself internally dying.
Before you could even turn around and slam the metal door shut, a long, pale hand effortlessly caught the edge of the locker, completely blocking your path. The heavy, rich scent of expensive cologne instantly flooded your senses, replacing the lingering smell of cheap automat coffee. You didn’t need to look up to know who it was.
Satoru leaned his tall frame a bit closer, invading your personal space with an infuriating lack of hesitation. Slowly, he pushed his round dark sunglasses down the bridge of his nose, his blue eyes locking straight onto your irritated face with a lazy, teasing spark.
“Hey, You looked like you wanted to murder someone during the whole English class, y'know?”
You let out a dry, unbothered sigh, forcing your expression to remain as cold and unreadable as you could. Your head was still throbbing, and your patience was entirely worn thin.
“Move your hand, Gojo” you muttered, your voice flat, completely unimpressed by his presence.
He didn't move an inch, but the cocky, superficial grin he usually wore in front of his classmates subtly vanished, replaced by a softer, more genuine expression. His eyes scanned your tired face beneath the oversized hoodie with a look of quiet curiosity.
“I wasn't trying to annoy you with the note” he said softly, his voice losing that loud smug edge from the classroom. He looked down at you, completely ignoring the passing students in the crowded hallway. “I just noticed you looked drained. I wanted to see if you were okay, maybe cheer you up a little”
You finally turned your head, meeting his intense, piercing gaze. You could feel the quiet whispers of the people around you, but looking into his eyes, you realized he wasn't doing this to show off. There was no audience for him here. But your pride and sheer exhaustion won the battle. Tightening your jaw, you reached for the edge of the metal door.
“I have a real job to get to. Some of us actually have to work for a living” you muttered.
Satoru slowly blinked, a small smile forming on his lips as he gently pulled his pale fingers away from the metal, giving you space. You slammed the locker door shut, slung your heavy bag over your shoulder, and walked away into the crowded hallway. Satoru didn't chase after you. He just stood there, quietly watching you leave, completely detached from the rich, superficial world around him.
Arriving at the cafe, you quickly slipped on your barista apron. Your shift started at 13:00 and ran until 19:00, a long stretch of brewing espresso and serving desserts to a bunch of customers.
The afternoon was quiet, the heavy exhaustion from your morning classes still weighing down your limbs. You spent most of the time cleaning the espresso machine and putting dirty cups into the dishwasher, just to keep your hands busy. But no matter how hard you tried to focus on the routine, your mind kept drifting back to the university hallway. To the warmth of Satoru’s cologne and the unexpected softness in his voice.
Once your shift finally ended, you gathered your things. Before leaving, you took one of the remaining baguettes that weren’t sold. It would just end up thrown away anyway, and you figured it was better than wasting it, especially since it saved you the money for dinner.
Waiting at the bus station, you quietly ate your baguette before the bus arrived. Buying your ticket and stepping inside, you noticed that unlike yesterday, it wasn’t raining at all. Instead, the evening sun cast a beautiful yellow hue over the entire city, creating a warm, nostalgic atmosphere as the bus drove past the familiar streets. Sunlight poured heavily through the window, falling right onto your tired face.
Getting to your apartment, the sun was slowly starting to set, soft pinkish clouds stretching across the sky. Worn out from the endless seeming stress you had since morning, you knew it was time for your favorite part of the day.
Dropping off your things and changing into some comfortable home clothes you had in your closet, you reached out for your pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes and a lighter waiting for you on your shoe cabinet as usual.
You sneaked to the roof unlocking the large metal doors and pushing them open. Breathing in the cozy mood of a warm evening all around you. The sun was sinking low, its light spilling over the horizon. Warm hues gathered on the clouds. For a moment, the whole sky was just a blend of colors.
Sitting on the concrete ledge of the apartment building and lighting up the cigarette, you hoped that idiot wouldn’t show up this time, though it seemed to not help you at all.
“Smoking up here again? You come here everyday?” Satoru said softly, coming up to you again with that wide smile of his.
Sitting right next to you just like yesterday he watched you with a curious look.
Exhaling tiredly, you turned your gaze towards him “you really can’t leave me alone, can you?” you responded maybe a little too coldly.
Satoru’s smile faltered a little. Every time you pushed him away he was just smug about it, but not this time? Why?
“Hey, I'm sorry. I just wanted to be your friend, you seemed nice and interesting and I thought maybe you will warm up a little, but I don’t want to actually annoy or bother you” he admitted, his voice carrying a tinge of disappointment.
Your heart tightened at the sound of his voice. Hearing him that sad hurt more than it should have.
“Why are you even that interested in me? A rich popular attractive guy hanging out with many people, having tons of girls drool over you, invited to many parties and events, it’s making me feel like you’re just making fun of me. Why would you want to be my friend? Honestly, why are you even living in this apartment building? Small cheap studio apartments sold to students because it’s close to the university? Don’t you come from a wealthy family?” You asked him with confusion, your voice softer than before, not able to keep up your sharp facade anymore.
Satoru blinked at that, but his soft smile returned “You know it’s not as easy as it sounds. Yeah I have many friends and money and am invited to events but to be honest? It’s all superficial. They only care about materialistic things and girls as well as parties and drinking, and even though that can be fun, it lacks any depth. I can’t talk to them about anything meaningful”
“And to answer your question about the apartment building, well living in a big villa with everything luxurious may also seem perfect, but it’s pretty boring honestly. I wanted to live like a normal guy and experience that college life, instead of just spending my whole day with my snob family” he offered a faint explanation.
Your expression changed completely at that “you’re saying that you’re different than your friends, huh?” you remarked sarcastically.
He laughed a bit at that “you could say so”
Your eyes locked on him again, he felt genuine, which did shock you, however, this time you trusted him.
“And you’re trying to find that in me, or?”
You asked, taking a puff of your cigarette and breathing it out into the air.
Satoru smiled slightly at that, his eyes turning away from you, glancing away to the scenery of other roofs reflecting the light “maybe” he muttered
You gave him a tiny amused huff “interesting choice for a guy like you” you noted.
“Oh come on, stop lumping me together with them” he said with a sarcastic offense.
Chuckling at that, you held out the pack of cigarettes, offering him one.
“Thanks” he murmured, taking one of the cigarettes and lighting it up himself, inhaling the smoky haze “You never told me your name, y’know?” he added.
Raising your eyebrows, you replied “I’m [your name]”
His lips curved up as he took another puff “pretty” he just muttered.
You got a little too flustered at that, the daylight gradually faded away as darkness took over.
“You see, you made it pretty clear earlier that you work for a living…” he started with a tinge of playfulness in his voice “what cafe do you work at?” Satoru asked
Snorting, you answered “the one in the red building on the right from the school”
“That one? I haven’t been in that one yet, will make sure to check it out” he winked with a hint of mischief
Just rolling your eyes at him, your voice light “Anything but that” you commented jokingly.
Today’s morning classes at the university felt completely different from the chaotic blur of the previous days. Walking through the crowded campus corridors, you noticed the heavy weight in your chest had finally started to ease up. The professors surprisingly kept their words, not throwing any sudden, unannounced assignments at the class, and the lecture halls remained relatively quiet.
When the final bell rang and everyone began rushing toward the main exits, you checked your phone to see it was already early afternoon.
The outdoor air was pleasantly cool, a light breeze moving softly across the streets as you made your way toward the familiar red building. It was a short, peaceful walk, and for the first time in a while, you didn't feel that crushing sense of dread about the upcoming hours.
Stepping through the back entrance of the cafe, you quickly swapped your outfit for the dark barista apron, tying it tightly around your waist. Your schedule today was the usual long block from 13:00 to 19:00, a steady routine of grinding fresh espresso beans and setting up dessert plates.
The initial part of the shift turned out to be pretty hectic. A constant stream of customers began entering the shop, keeping you moving behind the counter. You spent hours steaming milk into thick foam, washing ceramic mugs, and wiping down the sticky tables near the windows. Your shoulders felt strained from lifting the heavy plates and restocking the pastry display.
By the time 16:00 arrived, the busy rush slightly quieted down, the cafe was now pretty calm and comfortable. The bright afternoon sun leaned heavily through the front glass, stretching long golden lines across the wooden floor. You let out a quiet sigh of relief, leaning back against the cool metal of the espresso machine just to take a breath.
Then, you heard the cafe door open as another customer entered.
Keeping your eyes down on the counter you were currently scrubbing with a white cloth, you spoke out, out of pure habit. “Welcome, what can I get for you today?” you said, your tone completely flat and professional.
“Just a large iced vanilla latte, please. Make it extra sweet. The lectures were absolutely draining today” a familiar, relaxed voice answered.
Your fingers locked instantly around the damp rag. Your breath caught hard before you lifted your gaze.
Satoru was leaning slightly against the counter. He was by himself this time, wearing a simple black sweatshirt that made his tall frame look even broader, his white hair a bit tossed from the wind outside. He slowly pulled his dark glasses down his nose, his blue eyes staring straight at you with that teasing look.
“Told you I'd check it out” his tone lighthearted, a cute smile appearing on his face, completely lacking that loud arrogance he showed in front of his classmates.
You released a startled breath, trying to fix your surprised expression, even though the sudden heat in your cheeks betrayed you. “You actually came” you said under your breath, turning your back to him to reach for a cup as an excuse to hide your face.
“Of course I did. I don't break my promises” Satoru chuckled, his voice carrying through the quiet cafe. Before you could even type the order into the screen, giving him the finished drink, he carefully set a thick stack of business finance textbooks on the wooden surface.
You stared at the massive books, lifting your eyebrows in mild confusion. “Are you planning to study here?”
“Yeah, if that’s okay with you” he replied, taking a slow sip of the cold drink. “My apartment is too quiet, and my phone is blowing up with texts. I just wanted a peaceful spot where I could actually breathe. And I figured my favorite neighbor makes the best coffee on campus.”
Your jaw tightened a fraction, a strange wave of warmth spreading deep into your chest at his words. Not knowing how to respond, you simply gave a slow nod, reaching for your cleaning cloth again. “The corner table under the window is empty, Satoru. Just... keep it down.”
“Understood” he shot you a knowing look, picking up his heavy study materials and walking over to the secluded corner.
For the remaining hours of your shift, the cafe stayed peaceful. Satoru didn't interrupt your work, and he didn't make any noise. He just sat quietly in the sunlight pouring past the large window, his white head bent over his finance notes. You stood there polishing the bar, completely unable to look away from his profile.
He stayed all those three hours until the cafe reached closing time. Walking over to him, you patted his shoulder gently. He looked up at you, slipping off his headphones and looking up with his lovely eyes. “Hm?”
“We’re about to close” you let him know.
Satoru nodded. “Well then, I’ll stay until you’re done and walk you home, whatcha think?” he offered with a nudge.
I hope you liked it!!! I’ll appreciate any kind of support or feedback 💕
