So apparently today (August 13th where I am) is Intenational Wolf Day, so remember to leave treats out for Fen'Harel tonight 🥰
We need more wolves. Today is the day of Fen'harel. (Although it's day wolf be over in half an hour In my region.) But I like Solas as a wolf so much.
There is such a folk tale as the Fox married a cat. This is its Japanese version.
I really love the Slavic fairy tale "The Cat and the Fox." It's about a fox who married a cat. And I've often drawn pictures with alternative versions of it. I wanted such a wedding photo, but in the end I had to draw. 🖤🖤

A poor immigrant from Zoorope, Alphonse Strappato, comes across the ocean to the city of New Forest in search of a better life. In the New Forest, he meets Liska Khvostovich. Liska Khvostovich, a immigrant from eastern Zoorope, successfully poses as the rossian princess Vulpina Khvostovina. Liska offers Alphonse her heart, her tail, and her business.
After various twists and turns in life, and with a bit of luck, Liska and Alphonse defeat the mafia boss Gregor Maktire and take over the criminal underworld of New Forest. Alphonse is now called Al Gattone. And he's a very serious cat. The homage to the Bonnie (Bonnie and Clyde) suit is no accident.
Strappato is Italian for "ragged."
Gattone is a large cat.
Liska is a variation of the Slavic word for "fox."
Khvostov'ina and Khvostovich are surnames derived from the Russian word "tail."
Vulpina is from the Latin word "vulpes," meaning "fox."
Solas is painting a fresco . The fresco is called "She Who Holds the Wolf's Heart." (I couldn't translate it into Elvish.)
Solas is painting a mural on the Lighthouse, pining for Vhenan. The story takes place between Dragon Age Inquisition and Dragon Age Veilguard.
I wanted to show that Lavellan not only holds Fen'Harel's heart, but is also bound by her love to him and bound his love.
P.S. It's also uncomfortable to paint in armor. Painting is usually done in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

My own canon is that Solas would love to kiss the vhenans in his temples and at his statues, which they encountered during their travels in Dai. And that he would take offerings from his altars. And after Theneras learned that Solas was Fen'harel, she really enjoyed playing out the fantasy of being carried off by a dread wolf.

The fresco is a picture I showed earlier: it's a story about a dread wolf and his heart. It's about how, that who hunt alone are never alone again.
This happens after Dragon Age Veilguard. He painted their house in Fade with frescoes.

This is the last picture in this series about the Dalish gods. And I've finished my three-color Inktober.
I wanted the image to feel like a fresco. (This statement is also true of the previous picture.)

One day, Fen'Harel met his heart. And since then, he who hunts alone has never been alone again.
And at the Dalish camp, they now erect two wolf statues, always facing each other.
