for the record im not technially 100% anti-AI, in the sense that its a broad category of tech being lumped under one umbrella term so it feels over-zealous to say i hate all of it all the time forever. but i also think trying to discuss what it actually IS good for is difficult right now when i cant take one step without something trying to convince me to use chatgpt to summarize my life and speed up my hobbies and turn my friends into chatbots and optimize my life into oblivion. i am certain there is nuance to the topic but can we stop cramming the square peg into the round hole before you start trying to sell me on the legitimate benefits of the square peg. please.
fucking hate it when the stuff everybody says "actually works" does actually work.
hate exercising and realizing i've let go of a lot of anxiety and anger because i've overturned my fight-or-flight response.
hate eating right and eating enough and eating 3 times a day and realizing i'm less anxious and i have more energy
hate journaling in my stupid notebook with my stupid bic ballpoint and realizing that i've actually started healing about something once i'm able to externalize it
hate forgiving myself hate complimenting myself more often hate treating myself with kindness hate taking a gratitude inventory hate having patience hate talking to myself gently
hate turning my little face up to the sun and taking deep breaths and looking at nature and grounding myself and realizing that i feel less burdened and more hopeful, more actually-here, that i am able to see the good sides of myself more clearly, that i am able to see not only how far i have to grow - but also how much growth i have already done & how much of my life i truly fill with light and laughter and love
horrible horrible horrible. hate it but i'm gonna do it tho
Speed up process for Arrax. Unfortunatly lost some fotage where I colour the head and top down view :(
Redesign of Arax using dice to randomise what type of dragon he is and what features he has.
Here is he is with Syrax body shape, no horns and the 'wolf' shaped head like Caraxes and Meleys. For the details I rolled lots of scales and spikes as well as a split tail.
I did this a while back and completly forgot to post it here.
uh Morrigan
I’m reblogging this with the same care someone would have when holding a priceless artefact btw
Endwalker ending was really sweet (maybe?)
The conversation before The Fell Court of Troia was extremely funny to me..
And then there is this MVP
He would just love to adventure with wol.
I might've added the BG3 Art Book to my dnd assets stash
It' 100% does not have things like the 5e players' handbook + 5e’s character sheet, several gm guides, critical role's explorer's guide to wildmount, baldur's gate and waterdeep city encounters, 101 potions and their effects, volo's guide to monsters, both of xanathar's guides, a bunch of other encounters, one shots, and class builds
In no way are there any pdf’s relating to any wizard who may or may not be residing on any coast
(Edit that I’ve moved the folder to the new link above! So if you catch a different version of this post that link won’t work anymore!)
G is for Gremishka!
I am getting worse a schedule as I go along. I am going to go easy on myself because it has been a busy few weeks. I got a new lodger, and a kitten, injured my knee, failed my driving test, and applied for a new job. All in all personal art fell on the back burner.
Going to try and catch up to the current superset week but I will make no promises. If anyone doing the challenge has any advice on catching up it would be greatly appreciated. Or anyone at all for that matter.
F is for Frost worm.
Apparently, I am unable to stick to a schedule. Ever.
It's a few days late but part of the reason I took up this challenge was to stop beating myself up when I fall behind. I find berating myself for falling behind does nothing to help me in the long-term goal of posting regularly and enjoying my art. it just makes me feel miserable and stops me from starting for for fear of failure.
Sketching out individual scales on a giant snake probably didn't help with the lateness of the post.
Astarion slaps Volo
E is for Emerald Dragon!
Managed to go four prompts without drawing a dragon but as this week was a struggle week I feel back into my comfort zone.
After a rest week between D and E, I am back on schedule, just about.
D is for Dryad!
Better late the never. Missed my deadline by a few days but still got it out before the start of E week.
Trying to figure out what the twisty horns looked like from a straight-on view fried my brain, still not completely happy with it but it's finished.
C is for Cloaker!
Tried shading in greyscale first to see if I could avoid losing detail like I did last week. I think the shading is slightly better but the colours have come out darker than I'd like.
This week was a lot more difficult to meet the deadline. I have a lot going on. I am happy that I have just barely hit my deadline.
B is for Behir!
Well I hit my second deadline in the Alphabet Superset challenge and I couldn't be happier. I seemed to lose some of the definition in my shading somewhere in my process but overall I am happy with the result. I felt the Axe Beak looked a little lost by itself with all the text, so I am going to try and do more than one illustration for each page. Hopefully, as I get quicker at my process I can do more for each post.
I did remember to record my screen for most of this so may upload a speed draw of that if I have time.
A is for Axe beak!
Trying to actually start and finish a project by taking part in Stuthless' Alphabet Superset challenge.
My theme for the 26-week challenge is a DnD A to Z of various DnD creatures, monsters and more.
I'm hoping that the more forgiving schedule of a week for each theme will actually allow me to finish this project, unlike my many failed Inktober attempts...
