next time you see a piece of art you like take an extra minute to really take it in. next time you see a flower growing through the sidewalk cracks snap a pic of it. every time you hear a baby laugh, unexpectedly run into a friend, get to enjoy a tasty dessert, i need you to take a second and really drink it in because those little moments of light are going to make the fight worthwhile
be aware of what youβve done wrong. forgive yourself and learn from it rather than beating yourself up over it and thinking itβs just a part of you that canβt be changed. know that you canβt go back and undo it but also that in the future you can do better and not repeat the same regret. self hatred stemming from regret is hard to control, but it can be managed with patience and practice.
Once you have identified the proper remedies to the situation and have implemented them, you no longer need to think about the situation. You do not need to remind yourself of the thing months or years after countermeasures are done. Do not feel guilty, focus on responding to the issue.
You are not a bother. You are not a burden. You are not a waste of space. You are not annoying every person you talk to. Your existence matters. Your presence makes a good difference.

My job and my husband's job are gone. Israeli military forced us to evacuate from the north Gaza to the south where they claimed it would be the safe zone but it is not at all. Our sweet home and neighborhood have been destroyed.
