Robert Lowell on Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
From “Tropic of Cancer”
I could fix him.
They/thems and they/thems in America have such a sad time together; sophistication demands that they submit to talk immediately without proper preliminary sex. Not real straight sex— real sloppy t4t sex about souls, for life is holy and every moment is precious.
Little known fact this is actually Kerouac’s endorsement of being a nonbinary t4t lesbian
A note in my copy of Look Homeward, Angel by Thomas Wolfe that’s had me crying all morning
“12-17-62
I give this book to you— as a reminder of the shared us. Never let our hearts be parted til we both turn back to dust.
Love to you on Christmas and all the years to come

A visit to Louisbourg for National Acadian Day!
Had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Duo with Marcel Lefort and Roger Boudreau. This Cape Breton based duo played traditional folk songs and Acadian hits. Roger Boudreau and Marcel Lefort are originally from Chéticamp, Cape Breton and began their musical journey with the group « The Phantoms » in Cheticamp.
Also! Turkeys! And a photo with the Dugas house, home of an Acadian family that relocated eight times during the Deportations.
Genuine ask can anyone teach me/tutor me in Acadian French/Chiac/Brayon dm me
has anyone made a mi’kmaw miku yet
Cajun tag on tumblr is like
80% food/recipes
10% gambit
5% my own stupid ass posts
5% miku
This is extremely niche for anyone who’s not in the naesh but listening to Blink 155/155 Pod every week from when I was 13 to 18 permanently destroyed my brain. My internal monologue is Josiah Hughes determining whether everything I encounter is tight, sick, disgusting, groty, cool, etc and talking about MGK and singing Birthday Pony
Let’s play every Acadian and Creole‘s favorite game: who’s your mama and what’s your last name, the game in which we determine if we are related or not
Ed Chigliak is like a tumblr mutual to me…
Some churches around Harpswell and Phippsburg, Maine
Acadian as in fuck empire
