Just imagine Jake and Amy at Ikea to buy stuff when they finally move in together:
Jake would obviously try to pronounce all the Swedish names. Amy would correct him every. damn. time.
He wants to take one of those tiny pencils. The whole pile falls out of the boxâŚÂ
Amyâs testing couches and says âI donât like this, itâs too softâ.
â âI donât like this, itâs too softâ, title of our sex tape.â
Jake would definitely hide in one of the closets so he can scare Amy when she opens it, but instead a family with two tiny kids opens the closet and Jake pretty much traumatises the childrenâŚ
Strolling through the aisles holding hands.
Amy jokingly points at a frame and says âyou could use that for your Die Hard poster.â Jake doesnât see it as a joke and insists on buying the frame (âit would look great in the living room, Ames!!â). They argue about it for a few minutes. They buy the frame.
Kissing when they decide on a piece of furniture.
Jake asks for five minutes in the ballpit at SmĂĽland because Amyâs looking for throwpillows. Heâs not allowed in and rejoins Amy, pouting.
They race through an empty aisle, Jake pushing the cart, Amy trying not to fall off.
Amy wants to help him lift a heavy box onto their cart, but he insists on doing it himself. The box falls on him, but he still says itâs all part of the plan.
They eat those Swedish meatballs in the restaurant. Jake buys 4 bags of them before leaving.
ASSEMBLING THE THINGS IN THEIR NEW APARTMENT AND FAILING MISERABLY SO THEY HAVE TO CALL THE SQUAD FOR HELP
Jake claiming that they were short one screw to begin with and he didnât lose it. Amy finds it in less than 30 seconds.
Amy: *reads the instructions*
Jake:Â âI donât need those, I can figure it out myself!â
*one minute later*
âBaaabeeee⌠Iâm stuck. What do I do now?â
ASSEMBLING THE THINGS IN THEIR NEW APARTMENT AND DECORATING THEIR NEW PLACE WITH STUFF FROM HER AND HIS OLD PLACE!!!!
