Official tumblr account for Tboy Mag, an online zine focusing on transmasc issues and positivity!
SUBMISSIONS FOR ISSUE #4 ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED
Created and run by @ghostboyravenight
We are a transmasc-focused online zine created to spread information, creativity and positivity about *tm transition (ftm, mtm, ctmtm, itm, etc.). Since transmasc can be an umbrella term for a wide range of different labels and identities, this zine is in no way exclusive to binary trans men. If you identify under the transmasc label, whether youāre binary, non-binary, genderqueer, intersex etc. then this is the place for you, no questions asked.
We do not play identity politics here. Like I said, no questions asked. Your identity is your identity, and if you want to contribute to this zine in any way, then I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Furthermore, artwork and fictional writings can be submitted by anyone in the LGBTQIA2S+ community, regardless of whether you identify under the transmasc label or not.
For non-fictional works, however, such as historical profiles, transition guides, book recommendations etc. we will be prioritising transmasc-focused pieces.
I want to create a positive and creative space for those who may feel like an outcast in the community. DIY zines are punk after all, and punks never turn their backs on outsiders!
We do not tolerate: transphobia, transandrophobia, transmisogyny, transmedicalism, TERFism, exorsexism, intersexism, ableism or racism of any kind. You will be blocked immediately.
For questions, see the Q&A below:
How Do I Submit a Piece?
You can submit one piece per issue via our Google form. I will get back to you as soon as possible to let you know if your piece has been accepted or not.
Any rejections will mainly be down to whether or not a piece is considered offensive or inappropriate (in the sense that it is in any way bigoted towards a minority or marginalised group of people) or if we have already reached our submissions limit.
If your piece is accepted, we will send you a link to the finished zine before it is released to the public. You are able to submit anonymously.
By submitting your content, you are agreeing to allow us to publish it if we select it for the zine. Though we will do our best to contact you before we do, if you do not respond back, we won't delay the zine nor take out your piece unless you later request it.
What Can I Submit?
Anything youād like! If itās a piece that means something to you and your experiences, or you think it would be a good fit for the zine, then send it in!
This could be artwork, fanart, poetry, collages, music reviews, etc. Whatever works best for you!
For written works, please try to keep the word count to within 500-600 words (about one full page).
Please also note that NSFW pieces will be considered, but this zine is directed at ages 14 and up, so keep that in mind before submitting. Nude bodies, medical guides, sex education or profane/taboo language is fine, but if youāre not comfortable with your piece being seen by minors (or if you are a minor who is not comfortable with your piece being seen by adults), then do not submit it.
Where Will the Zine Be Hosted?
The zine itself will be hosted on our website, orā if you are a contributorā you will be sent a PDF link directly. Once the zine is released, everyone will be able to download a copy of the PDF if they wish, and physical distribution is both allowed and encouraged!
Each issue will also be posted here and on the zineās Instagram, with full credit given to every contributor.
Is The Zine Free?
Yep, of course! It wouldnāt be DIY if it wasnāt. The zine will be completely free for anyone to read, download or even print out and disperse.
However, if you do want to help financially, then please donate any proceeds towards the Jehad family, for whom I have been raising money for a while now in order to help fund their escape from Gaza.
Who Runs the Zine?
Just me right now! My name is Logan, Iām a 22 yr old trans guy and I use he/him pronouns :] Iām not currently looking for volunteers, but if the zine ends up getting a lot of attention, then I may be open to sharing the workload.

If you have any other questions, my inbox is open!
So, I havenāt been active here lately but I didnāt want people thinking Iād just abandoned this zine because I absolutely havenāt! Iāve just been on a brief hiatus that may last a while longer since my daily life is really hectic right now and unfortunately each issue takes quite a long time to put together.
That being said, Iām determined to open submissions back up again in late February/early March so stay tuned for that!
Hiii, coing out of the woodwork for a second to share a shitty song I wrote about transmasc Jesse Pinkman because my audience on here would probably appreciate it ^_^
I donāt have any proper recording equipment but my friend @imjunebitch did the backing vocals and sheās so fucking cool so please appreciate her
Help the Trans Guy Archive write about testosterone!
I'm currently drafting a very comprehensive post for the Trans Guy Archive all about testosterone HRT. You can see in the table of contents above what I've written so far, plus a FAQ for all the misc. questions I've seen trans guys ask about the process.
I can't show the full post (because it's just too long to fit into Tumblr) but is there anything additional that you think I should add? Random side effects from T? Hurdles to get through with doctors? Social experiences while on the medication?
I urge people to donate to Dem Bois, a non profit organization that provides trans masculine and trans men of color grants for transition related surgeries as well as care packages.
During the height of covid when I was unemployed and homeless, Dem Bois provided me with a care package that, more than anything, gave me hope to keep living and a reminder that my community exists and is one of perseverance and survival.
Does anyone have any suggestions for musicians that are transmasc/trans men? I'm struggling to find many. As a general rule I'm willing to give most things a try. Songs specifically about being a trans man is a bonus

Thereās something extremely harrowing that on the same day I saw a video from a trans man telling other trans men to check their male privilege, and the same day that I read a post from a cis woman telling trans men to stop making everything āabout menā was also the same day that another Black trans man had been found dead.
I already made a post on my old blog about how white people need to stop picking and choosing which Black people they think are worthy of protection based solely on progressive points, without actually caring about the material reality, because the consequences of your little game of White Saviour is allowing Black trans people to die without so much as an acknowledgment of their deaths. I saw one post about Danny Siplin. One post cared enough to mention him, and nearly every article misgendered and deadnamed him.
The internet will let his death be forgotten about in a few days, and it fucking infuriates me. You guys need to start caring about Black trans people while theyāre still alive, because their deaths are nothing but pawns to you. Itās fucking disgusting. Black trans men on this website have tried to talk about this shit, and no one is listening, because theyāre not the Black people that white leftists can use to make themselves look good.
Stop using the deaths of Black trans women as a way to pretend you give a shit about racism, and stop ignoring the deaths of Black trans men entirely.
Danny was a member of the Avenue Black Box Theatre in Rochester, a āBlack bold š creative healing space honoring marginalised voicesā according to their Instagram. You can support them through their linktree where they have multiple donation options, or learn about their current and future projects.
Here is the fundraiser for Danny Siplinās family, who are currently raising funds for his funeral service on the 12th January, 2026:
My name is Rynette Baker. Please help me raise money to assist my sister, Tracy R⦠Rynette Baker needs your support for Support Tracy Riley
Anyway, in Zine news, submissions will be opening up again in late Febuary once Iām able to commit to putting together Issue #5 (side note, I canāt believe weāre already up to four issues! It feels like I only just created this zine š„¹).
Obviously, thereās no pressure to figure out your submissions yet, and Iāll update with more specifc info before the end of January ^_^

bro i just found out about what happened i am SO SORRY š i don't have anything particularly comforting to say, that shit just sucks man. i'm glad you're still here.
Thanks <33 It definitely sucked for a while, but managing the zine kept me going so Iām doing a lot better now ^_^
Contribute to the Trans Guy Archive's first monthly zine!
The zine is mostly done, but I wanted to give everyone a chance to throw a little something in. In the past you may have seen snapshots of how trans people from pre-internet days would describe their gender and more often than not it wasn't a simple answer.
So since this is our first zine, we want to ask the community that's supported us so much so far:
How would you describe your gender identity?
(bonus points if you don't use the words "male" "masculine" "female" or "feminine")
Fine print: These submissions will all be anonymous, unless otherwise noted by you. Feel free to 'submit' your answer by replying or leaving it in the tags when you reblog! Deadline is Jan 1st.
Deactivated! My mum found it, and Iām not out to her as trans yet (well, I technically am but she wonāt āallowā it so she didnāt approve of my main blog)
Thank you all so much for your submissions to this monthās issue, I think it turned out wonderfully and I appreciate everyoneās patience while I dealt with the aftermath of losing my main blog.
Iām going to be going on a short break in the new year, since January is a super busy time for me, but hopefully Iāll be able to open up submissions again some time in Febuary!
In the meantime, now that winter has fully set it, Iād like to take this moment to share my friend Othmanās campaign. Iāve been fundraising for him for around a year now, and anyone who followed me from my main blog will know this, but with the weather in Gaza dropping below freezing, he desperately needs a new shelter for him and his family.
A proper shelter costs around $1,000 and while I donāt expect to be able to raise that much, I would really appreciate his campaign being shared around so we have a chance of raising a decent amount. He still needs enough for other basic necessities too, such as food and clothes.
Heās currently raised ā¬3,595. If we can reach around ā¬4k by Febuary, that would be amazing!
His campaign has been verified here by @/gazavetters on their list of vetted GFMs, and you can also follow Othman on Instagram to watch the videos heās been posting about his life in Gaza.
As you know, this zine is completely free and I have no intention of ever monetising it. However, if you do want to support this project in any kind of financial way, please help my friend instead.
