He never loved me, he used me just to feel a little less lonely and then he played the victim, how does he manage to be so heartless, see me hurting and actually feeling okay with it?

“Amazing things happen when you distance yourself from negativity.”

You know you’re fucked up when nothing really surprises you, you’re best friend, the person who used to be your other half betrays you and you don’t even feel it, like you where expecting it, and that’s worse than feeling the pain because you haven’t gone numb but you’re used to being hurt so you just live like that until other person betrays you again and you live in a constan wait for disappointments, you’re lonely and you think you have nothing to loose but you have nothing to live for either.

i've gone numb to anything but pain
the amount of passion in Bad Reputation is insane
I want to be happy and proud of myself but i can’t find a way.
dalliance
(noun) As one of the most beautiful words in the English dictionary, dalliance is defined as a brief love affair, a flirtation or a fleeting love. A dalliance also has connotations of amorous toying, example flirting without mindfulness and stringing a person along. Inevitably, Gatsby’s ephemeral relationship with Daisy in The Great Gatsby comes forth in our mind. Though the word dalliance is delicately beautiful, its meaning is quite bittersweet; Daisy’s selfish, coquettish nature led to Gatsby’s demise. What we have learned is that a dalliance with the presence of unrequited love is lethal. (via thelovejournals)

People may not tell you how they feel about you, but they always show you. Pay attention.
Keri Hilson (via wordsnquotes)
Summer, that time of the year, when you finally remember how living feels, the days get shorter and the nights longer. Those summer nights, you fell in love with a stranger you were to drunk to remember, when you were so tired but it didn’t matter, you didn’t stop dancing, those late night drives where the music is too loud to pay attention to the world, and the only thing that matters is living the moment. This is the part of the year your soul sets free, and you feel younger and more alive than never. But when it’s over, you’re left with nothing else but memories.
Summertime
See, although we love that there’s no school, and that we have an endless amount of days, or so it seems to spend in the baking sun, and the sound of the ice cream truck rolling down our streets, and the summer loves we develop, and the fresh fruits that are finally in season, and the crash the tide brings into our sand filled toes, and the nights that the morning crept up on us out of the blue, and the amusement parks we go to in seek for a thrill, and the perfect ice cold glass of homemade lemonade mom makes, and the flaming magentas, crisp blues, and bright nectarines we see in the sky throughout the day, and the nights where it was too hot for the day to have time to cool off, so we sleep over the covers, and the laughs and smiles we share under a lantern light at the campground, and the sun that absorbs our skin and leaves gentle kisses. These aspects of the beautiful season make it so wonderful, but it is not what makes us fall in love with summer. The truth about summer is we love it, because we feel alive. We feel the blood rushing through our veins and for the first time since early September, we remember how to breathe. We remember how to live. Love, the teenagers.
