implying that parents of homeschooled children are actively neglecting their kid’s social development is wack. there are entire homeschool communities/groups focused on making sure there are social opprotunities with other kids, homeschooled and otherwise. there are sports groups. there are free events at public libraries. there are playgrounds. there are groups like boy scouts and girl scouts and 4H. there are community centers. there are community bands. homeschooling is very popular where i grew up and most of the kids entered public schooling in high school. they often surpassed the social skills of the people i’d gone to public school with for years and were generally much nicer and over-all better adjusted individuals.
