One of those fandom things that I love is when there’s new characters around and, with the unwavering confidence of an old farmer appraising cattle, fanfic authors take one good look at them, tilt their imaginary hat, and go “Aye. Praise kink, that one. Mighty case of praise kink if I ever saw one.” And everyone else just “aye.”
Not to mention the plot tropes.

Star Wars - I have been a fan since I was in primary school (pre-11), and my love has never waned. If you're in the vicinity when I get an opportunity to ramble excitedly about everything I love about it, escape as soon as you can. I will not stop.
Art - Not specific artists or art movements, for the most part, but I love sketching, painting and photography, and I love talking about methods and preferences with people.
SPACE - It's fascinating and amazing, and I do love quite a few science-y things but space is just... How humanity and different cultures have interpreted space is interesting too.
Neon Genesis Evangelion - I'm so sorry. I just really love it. And this bleeds into me chattering delightedly about other mecha shows, and then other anime and manga, and eventually I either lose my voice or the heat death of the universe occurs.
The Nier games - I have too many emotions about these games. They're fascinating in terms of story, interesting in gameplay, the art and music are beautiful... They're my favourite games.
Bonus:
Telling stories that make people laugh - So I'm not sure if this counts or not, but it's something I'm sort of proud of. A lot of ridiculous things have happened to me and to my family, and I've previously reduced classmates, colleagues, friends and even my boss to actual tears of laughter. Fun for them and for me!

Fun game for Pride Month:
When you're at a event, count how many people with mobility aids there are. If it seens low, think about why that might be. Count how many disabled bathrooms. Count how many unavoidable steps. Try and find one accessibility issue at the event and afterwards contact the organisers to ask them to fix it.
Many disabled queer people are left out of the Pride month celebrations due to accessibility issues, so if you're able to be there, you're already in a position to make it better.
Don't forget your disabled siblings this Pride!
disabled people are worth whatever cost or resources is needed to keep them alive. disabled people are worth it even if they don't live long. they're worth it even if they will need extra support and resources for every day of their life. they're worth it even if they spend all they life indoors. none of it is wasted. none of it is in vain. time, effort, money, resources spent on a life are not wasted. these things have served their purpose. the joy of someone's existence is not undermined by not lasting forever. there's no meaningful point, some threshold where you can say "okay this is enough. after that it's not worth it." it's always worth it.

The fact that the mental health service I work for posted an LGBTQ+ positive post on social media and I'm now having to field replies from assholes is so fucking upsetting.
I knew it would happen eventually and I genuinely thought I was prepared for it, but it's 11pm and I still just want to cry.
LGBTQ+ people disproportionately experience mental health issues (not least BECAUSE OF the bigoted shit people say), so of course it makes sense for us to post something for Pride! We want people to know we're here and they're welcome with us, and to remind them that the team are happy to help with accommodations if they need them to feel comfortable accessing our services!
And we shouldn't have to make a choice between making it harder for people to ask questions or get in touch if they need to by turning replies/comments off, or a member of our team having a horrible, horrible day!
