From my post, Create Space for My Upcoming Book:
My book journey will be covered in a new online journal (weblog).
I have a challenge in order to get forward with the book... I have to start to write! ;) And I have to come up with a solution to create a combo of a fable, manifesto and textbook on tea. Which category will fit the book?
My goal is to publish the book on December 16, 2014, as a tribute to the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 1773.
I look forward to your book writing tips! :)
(EgoSoleTrader.com, December 1, 2013.)
As you could see, I have now started my new blog for my upcoming book, Tea For The Win. I am working on a subtitle...
You will be able to follow along the book project with the hashtag, #teaFTWbook. I have been using the hashtag, #teaFTW for some time now.
In order to start the writing process, I have ordered the following:
The Writing Process by Peter Schwartz
Writing: A Mini-Course by Leonard Peikoff
As an inspiration for my fable with a twist, I have ordered the Kindle Single book, Tea Party Fairy Tales by James Finn Garner.
I will go through the APE (Author, Publisher, Entrepreneur) book and the Social Media Club in Gothenburg's session on self-publishing.
I will also re-read The Art of Fiction: A Guide for Writers and Readers by Ayn Rand.
I will reach out to Chris Reimer and ask him about his new book...
Some things that I have to "chew" and want to discuss with you:
How to write an outline (intro., fable, tea tips, manifesto...)?
How to illustrate the book? John Cox is the man!
How to set the price of the book? $17.73 for the printed book? The price of a cup of tea at Starbucks for the e-book?
How could you use guerrilla marketing?
What kind of writing tools do you use (notebook, mobile app, writing software, etc.)?
