okay so you know how ffxiv has the time bubble thingy? and you know how most people just make up their own timeline for how long the game took place over so far? Pls share YOUR 🫵 personal timeline….because i’m trying to make my own but i honestly for the life of me cannot think of what would be a reasonable time for an expansion to take place over lmao

It was originally stated that each expansion was a years worth of events, so I still go off that timeline, despite them now saying that from ARR to EW was only 6 months at most (that's a lot of traumatic events in a short amount of time) I think that's just too much for such a small time frame. So around 5-6 years have passed in my headcanon, give or take a few weeks/months due to different time flow during Shadowbringers and in Elpis
