Ode to the IngenuiTEA and Buckingham Garden Blend Review
My faithful companion,
Whom I have had five years,
Whom has become like tea-stained glass,
Whom has gone through countless fulters,
Welcome to your new home.
I made the mistake of not travelling with my IngenuiTEA to do a “temporary” assignment. I didn’t realize how often I didn’t brew tea or didn’t brew loose leaf tea, having to struggle with those pesky tea balls all the time. And they don’t let the tea expand or rinse properly.
So glad to have my trusty friend back. :)
Drinking this “Buckingham Garden” blend right now from Fluer di lis Teas . It’s a darjeeling/ceylon blend with bergamot, those pretty blue corn flowers. But the darjeeling leaves are really, really fleshy - much bigger than anything you would normally find, so that is peculiar. Decently standard blend of teas, but the flavours aren’t really complimented or enhancing the base. Really prefer a more complex blend, with Assam for this pallet. This tea, if I recall was like $4/oz, which is decently expensive, especially when skeptical leaves are involved. xD
Hadn’t seen these ones yet!
Heyyyyyyy
Back!
Let me know how many of you are still around!
Lots of tea reviews pending. :D

Just opened up my Gingerbread tea from the Perennial Tea Room. I think it is by far, the most gorgeous looking blend I have seen in ages. All those big spices and beautifully rolled leaves that all opened up wonderfully. Very nice. #tea #nofilter #perennialtearoom #seattle #gingerbread #winter #spice
Finally finished the blanket! Super happy with it! :D #crochet #nofilter #blanket #grannysquare

Free Kindle Books for Tea Lovers
I’m a voracious reader, especially when it comes to tea, but all of those books can get expensive. Luckily there are several older books that are now public domain so they’re available for free on Kindle. While some of the facts may have changed a bit since their publication, these books serve as windows to the past of our beloved beverage.
