Trans rights activist Hande Kader was raped and burned to death in Turkey
In Turkey, the LGBTQ community is mourning the loss of transgender rights activist and sex worker Hande Kader. Kader’s body was found raped and brutally burned on Aug. 12 in Istanbul and now activists across the world are demanding justice for her death and the greater violence inflicted upon the the LGBTQ community. While homosexuality is not illegal in Turkey, discrimination and violence against the LGBTQ community is staggering.
Believe me when I say that I don’t know ONE radical feminist who wants this to happen, not one. This is male violence at its worst.
Being gender critical isn’t necessarily transphobic. This is transphobic. This is what needs to be addressed in the trans community, male violence, not worrying about who likes dick and who doesn’t.

men can be sensitive, feminine, emotionally intelligent, and they’ll still be in the oppressive class.
women can be insensitive, masculine, and cold, and they’ll still be an oppressed class.
femininity does not determine womanhood or the value of a woman, and conformity to gender roles is not inherently freeing or empowering and can in itself perpetuate oppression.
Here’s a wild idea: what if, instead of creating 100 new genders and making people even more confused about themselves, we just get rid of this whole ‘gender-idea’ and raise boys and girls the same way and treat women and men the same way and just let everyone wear, do and act however they want, without making them think that something is wrong with them..
