Jube’s R4 BG Feature

Here’s the highlights from my background work in Jubilee R4 - Muck Warfare - Being set in an art gallery meant I had the opportunity to place in a number of art spoofs, although a vast majority of the work ended up hidden by Characters, Paint, Speech, or a combination of all of that. So here’s a bunch of panel grabs without any major interfering details ~

Meant to post this as a follow-up to R0 shenanigans with trusslark, but didn’t quite end up finding the right time to reveal the little monster Franz deals with at home. 

So uh, great nudie-run reveal for Alex, Blanca’s Grandson, and thus Franz’s Grand-nephew -- The kid has been taken in by Blanca as next of kin, which means yeah, the little tyke’s parent’s aren’t alive anymore, but the old snow-heads are doing their best to look after him anyway.

So it turns out that ayumon29 is having a bday today, not just her trainer! And since Kaoru and Franz are interacting so much in R2, it only seems fitting to send her a little gift ~

Heeeeere’s a couple of wips from my JubeR2 comic -- given the era of the (haunted) house Franz is in, that means tons of tiles/wallpaper/patterns EVERYWHERE, and stock textures look awful, so I’ve actually been drawing my own tiles/wallpaper/patterns for every room that needs them. It’s tedious, and taking much longer than my stuff normally does, but it’s really paying off and adding to the atmosphere.

Even as incomplete pics, I’m still actually really pleased with how a lot of the panels are turning out, thus wanting to show them off just a bit here. :’D
