Advo-Kitts ONE/80 Healthy Transformation tip of the week - Hydration! My husband found this handy Slim water jug at our local grocery store - I find it helps me keep track of my daily intake. I fill up in the am and always refill my cup from the jug. The recommended half my body weight in ounces is about 2 quarts, but years of dancing & teaching dance have upped my preferred water intake to around 90 ounces, and w/3 small kiddos distracting me this has been a huge help! What’s your fav way to stay hydrated? #advocareone80 #behealthy #hydrate #advokitts

a Post for all my fellow Preggo Moms and soon-to-be Moms out there! This 3rd pregnancy I have found it very challenging to keep exercising on my own....(probably b/c of the 2 littles I already have running around!). But this morning I drank my Spark and found this routine on YouTube. I feel so much better afterwards I just had to share with ya’ll too! A great gentle stretch routine even for those not pregnant. Enjoy. Here’s the description and info from YouTube: A gentle yet effective prenatal yoga sequence that will strengthen and lengthen the entire back and side body, as well as maintain flexibility in the hips and hamstrings. We will work through a series of floor-based poses to build strength and flexibility for the back, glutes & hamstring muscles. This is a fantastic sequence to keep up throughout your pregnancy to maintain back health and manage the demands of the extra weight on the body. This is NOT recommended for women who are experiencing any complications in their pregnancy. Always check with your doctor or prenatal care provider before beginning any exercise program. Level: 1st, 2nd, and early 3rd Trimester Props: 1-2 Blocks, and cushions or bolster (for Savasana) Produced by Paula Lay & Mischa Baka Please visit www.paulalayyoga.com for more information Connect with Paula on instagram @yoginimelbourne
Are you putting Monsanto in your vagina? 85% of tampons and feminine hygiene products contaminated with cancer-causing glyphosate herbicide
Well folks…if you can’t tell from the title, this post is for the ladies…ever wonder if the terrible headaches and cramps were influence by something more than just your hormones?? Yep. Another reason to use silicon menstrual cups (which I do, which are fabulous) or cloth pads (from organic cotton of course!) but seriously, who wants to use a pad?? Just go for the SKOON cup. I noticed less cramping and pretty much no headaches after switching to the cup, had a vague idea that tampons contained icky chemicals but didn’t know it was this bad...

Tonight's heathy & yummy dinner brought to you by #AdvoCare24daychallenge cookbook. #FishTacoBowl #behealthy
Mama Natural posted this on Facebook today…the visual makes so much more of an impact than just saying “you can save money over the long run by using cloth diapers”…for us, we nearly exclusively used cloth with baby #1 (except for night and traveling) and along with elimination communication I rarely had to change a poopy diaper, cloth or disposable. Now, baby #2 came along and didn’t get as much EC, got put in disposables more often out of convenience (while baby #1 was almost potty independent by this point) but still, he’s almost 23 months now and goes bare bottom at home, starting to use the potty on his own, just using diapers when napping/nighttime or outside the house. I SHOULD be using cloth but….kind-a slipped back into the more expensive/bad for the earth/but easy on Mom disposables. Now, no judgement if you have multiples, like my lovely bro&sis-in-law with triplet boys! I’d probably be using throw away diapers in that situation too…I mean, how many loads of cloth would you have to do PER DAY with triplets??
One Yankee girls guide to surviving CEDAR FEVER season, living in Cedar Park. First of all, I am not a medical professional, nor am I diagnosing or curing anyone’s disease or allergies. This is simply my own personal testimony. I hope, if you are out there being beaten down by that nasty Cedar, and perhaps you don't want to use OTC (or they are not helping) that something in this post can help you! #1- Get ALLERGENA drops asap. I get mine in the Healthy Living aisle of HEB, they would be available at other healthy food stores as well (Sprouts, People’s Pharmacy, etc). There are a few versions, I have found the Zone 5 and Texas Tress/weeds to work the best for me. One version is alcohol free, so it does not sting when dropped into your mouth. I’ve been told it works the same, the alcohol is simply for longer preservation. I would use the alcohol free version with my kids, but for me it seems the type with alcohol works better. Per the directions, I place 10 drops under my tongue every morning/evening, and on the worst days at lunch too. #2- When Allergena alone is not enough (or for allergies that go beyond the trees/weeds, such as mold) I swallow an essential oil allergy “bomb” every morning and evening as long as needed. IMO, Young Living is the best quality oil out there, and I would only use Young Living or DoTerra for ingesting, not a bottle off the shelf of your local store. I place 3 drops each Peppermint, Lemon, and Lavender (if I feel a bug coming on, I’ll add 2-3 drops Thieves as well) into a gelatin capsule (you can order these from YL or find them at a health food store) and swallow. #3 - As needed, rinse the nasal passages. I prefer the NeilMed gentle squeeze bottle to pouring the NetiPot, but either will work. I rinse any time I feel too stuffy, or as soon as possible after being outdoors for any length of time. Another tip upon coming back indoors, wipe your eyebrows with a warm wet washcloth. Eyebrows can catch and collect all those tree/weed pollens and it can make such the difference to wash the eyebrows, even change your clothes (and of course wash your hair before bed that night!) if it’s particularly bad that day. #4 - Stay hydrated! My favorite way to stay hydrated is to mix AdvoCare’s Rehydrate electrolyte replacement drink into my Spark every morning, and take another one every afternoon. Rehydrate is magical, it not only balances your bod’s electrolytes but it contains this amazing ingredient called Sustanine that helps your body absorb water better! I can feel the water hydrating me after I use Rehydrate, it’s amazing. So there you go, how this Pennsylvania girl survives the Cedar season living in Cedar Park, Texas! I hope something in here can be helpful to you. For more info on AdvoCare: www.teamvaliantwarriors.com
