People of Tumblr! I am Nigel Randal Washington, current king of my region and leader of the powerful Team Wraith! What is Team Wraith? Well, to put it simply, it is the monarchy that I rule! Our influence is wide, and our resources varied. And, of course, I do my best to treat my subjects well. If you have any questions regarding me or Team Wraith in general, feel free to ask. I don't really have much else to do, anyways.

What songs do you associate with your OC?

(Hey, it's @shinydarkrai2000 here. It's been a while since I posted here, huh? Well, since the Crown Tundra DLC is coming up in less than a week, I figured it would be a good time to post something here again. And this is something that I always think about when making characters. Arguably, it's the very first thing that I think about.)

(Nigel Randal Washington is obvious. His song is You'll Be Back from Hamilton. Hell, it's the song that inspired me to make him in the first place. He's essentially based off of King George III as portrayed by Jonathan Groff.)

(Draco Saeben is associated with Cackletta's theme from the Mario and Luigi RPGs. Specifically, there's this orchestral remix that features a clarinet.)

(Victor Freudincense is the theme song for Robot Chicken. ...Mad scientist in a nutshell.)

(Edgar Quoth...huh. I had a hard time coming up with a song back then and I still do now. You know what? Alphys from Undertale. That's his theme now.)

When was the last time your OC cried?

DRACO: When Katherine died...

NIGEL: When the pressures of having to rule my entire kingdom first got to me.

VICTOR: When my parents died.  But they were tears of joy.

EDGAR: I’ve lost track, honestly.

How expressive is your OC when it comes to body language?

(Hey, this is the blog owner @shinydarkrai2000 speaking.  I feel like this one would be kind of strange to answer in character, so I’m answering it directly out of character so that I can clearly get the answer across.)

(To start, Nigel and Victor are both pretty expressive most of the time, but Victor is especially so.  A lot of his movements are big and snappy, involving a lot of sharp bends in the elbows and knees, especially when battling.  He’s a mad scientist after all, so it makes sense.)

(Nigel’s also quite expressive, but in a more flamboyant, posing sort of way.  It’s very much similar to how I express myself in public.  However, he can’t always be like this.  There are times when he needs to wear a crown and cape on top of his normal getup in order to appear more formal and powerful, such as when he’s making an important announcement to the people of his region.  And the cape weighs him down quite a bit, so he needs to be able to carry himself.  The crown, of course, provides the biggest change to his body language, as it is also ridiculously heavy.  In fact, if Nigel isn’t balanced, the slightest tilt could have him falling over onto his side.  Basically, if you’ve ever heard the story of how Jonathan Groff’s crown dictated his walk on stage, you’ll have an accurate idea of how Nigel has to carry himself in those certain situations.)

(Edgar is more reserved compared to the previous two mentions, as his nervousness and lack of self esteem are made clear in his body language.  His back is usually hunched, and he’s very closed into himself most of the time so as not to cause any “unneeded trouble” as he would put it.)

(Lastly, Draco is the most reserved of the main four.  However, he wouldn’t be caught dead without the proper posture.  You know, assuming that he’s able to die at all, but that’s another topic entirely.  Anyway, Draco’s back is constantly straight.  His arms are almost always behind his back, and his legs are never too far apart from each other.  He’s probably the most “professional” of the main cast in terms of appearance and body language.)

When would be the last time your OC took public transport?

VICTOR: 8 years ago.

EDGAR: This morning.

How would your OC describe their mother?

NIGEL: From what I remember of her, she was one of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet.

DRACO: I don't actually remember my parents. They were never a part of my life, and they're most likely dead anyway.

VICTOR: She was incredibly submissive and adored my dad for Arceus knows why. And when I finally got rid of him, she ended up freaking out and calling me "the Renegade's child." I could tell that she wasn't gonna listen to a word I said from that point on, so I had to deal with her too.

EDGAR: She's a nice lady, though she doesn't always have a filter. Though unlike the other people mentioned moments ago, my mom is actually alive, which is really nice.

How would your character describe their best friend (or equivalent)?

NIGEL: Victor’s an Arceus-damn madman who likely has several warrants across several regions and has never failed to make me laugh.  Draco, however, is basically like two amazing parents combined and blessed with immortality.

DRACO: Master Nigel is like the son that I never got the chance to have, as well as the product of my greatest friend and the love of my life consummating their love for each other.  Mr. Quoth, on the other hand, is the poor anxious soul who has to put up with the doctor’s constant bullshit.

VICTOR: Nigel’s like that one guy who embodies the idea of treating other people the way you would want to be treated, and he’s also the only person who I can sort of make fun of without having to worry about “patching up any hurt feelings” or whatever.  Plus, Edgar’s the lab-rattata that always lets me know if what I’m doing could have lasting consequences that I’ll have to deal with later, which is always nice.

EDGAR: Mr. Saeben is surprisingly nice to me, and can be an excellent source of comfort when Murkrow isn’t enough.  And Dr. Freudincense is the nutcase who, for some reason, didn’t see a pile of worthless failures cosplaying a flaming Garbodor when he first saw me.

How would your character describe themself?

NIGEL: The fabulously gay king of the Hamton region!  Confident, strong, and handsome, with a great personality on top of it!

DRACO: Nurturing and full of wisdom.

VICTOR: The fun one!

EDGAR: A sentient garbage can with anxiety and common sense.

What is your characters star sign? Do they fit it?

I’ve never actually thought about the birthdays of the main characters in Team Wraith to this extent.  Let’s try it out!

Nigel Washington.  For simplicity’s sake, let’s say that his cannon incarnation was born on July 8th.  That would make him a Cancer.  Honestly, from what I can tell, he kind of resembles the assumptions that his star sign has.  He certainly will not tolerate any insults about his mom, that’s for sure.

Draco Saeben.  I’ve considered his birthday to be October 13th, making him a Libra.  Aside from maybe holding a grudge, I don’t think Draco really fits with the star sign itself.  Hell, the grudge part doesn’t even last too long anyway.

Victor Freudincense.  Another one that I hadn’t really considered much.  Let’s say that his birthday is April 29th.  That makes him a Taurus.  …Yeah, he does not fit Taurus at all.  He is incredibly chaotic and impulsive.  Practically the complete opposite of what a Taurus is assumed to be.

Edgar Quoth.  Again, not one that I really thought about before now.  Let’s say that his birthday is January 4th.  Capricorn.  Well, he’s certainly responsible, and he likely expects the worst.  However, I don’t think he’s the condescending type that Capricorn is associated with.  If anything, he’s rather submissive.

And that’s all of them!  I have no idea what this was meant to achieve!

What is your OC’s favourite place to hang out, and what do they do there?

NIGEL: I usually hang out in the main “living area” of my castle.  I use the movie theater sized monitor on the wall to observe the goings-on of my region.

DRACO: If I’m not by Master Nigel’s side or keeping an eye on the other servants of the castle, I’m in the music hall, performing the songs that...that she used to sing.

VICTOR: I’m usually in my lab within the castle, working on my next experiment!  Speaking of which, I should probably make sure that the blood’s all cleaned up.

EDGAR: If Dr. Freudincense doesn’t need me in the lab with him, I like to take walks around the region.  It’s also why I don’t mind going out on any scouting missions or fetching some lab supplies.

Does your OC know the rules of chess?

NIGEL: Of course, I do!  I’m a king.  I need to know how to plan ahead.

DRACO: Hence why I decided to teach him when he was young.  Strategy is arguably more important than strength.

VICTOR: Alright, but if people see this and assume that you have a fucked up left leg, don't blame me.

NIGEL: Pffft!

I realize that I forgot to give him the tinted sunglasses that I see him wearing, but maybe that can be it's own picture.
