The Kingâs Mulligan
Ingredients
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 2 lbs cubed meat
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Whatever cooking oil you wish
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 2 tbsp flour
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 1 onion
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Âź cup (half stick) butter
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 2 potatoes
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 8 oz red wine
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 1 root beer
Instructions
1.      Put the oil and cubed meat in a pot on medium-high heat. Add 2 tbsp flour and cook until the meat isnât pink.
2.      Remove the meat from the pot and set aside. Add the onion, chopped. Add the butter and sautÊe the onion. Add the potatoes, chopped up. Stir in the wine. Add in whatever spices you wish. Stir in the root beer.
3.      Add the meat back in. Stir a few times more. Cover and let simmer on low 2-3 hours.
