C - Cottage

Colleen Cobble & Clement Cobble

Colleen and Clement Cobble are highly revered in their village of Henford-On-Bagley, where for decades they have run a hobby farm.

It goes without saying that Colleen's favourite colour is Red, and she will only wear jewellery from the finest designers (her grandchildren).

Colleen always make an effort to look her best at all times, maybe except for her "comfie shoes". Colleen's lived too long to wear shoes that aren't comfortable, and if she cannot wear her comfie shoes, she is not going.

Clement found a haircut and moustache that suited him in his early 20's an he has never deviated from it. Clement wouldn't say his favourite colour is also Red, but Colleen does buy most of his clothes, and then gushes about how handsome he looks in them. And he loves Colleen, so actually yes, Clement decides, Red is also is favourite colour.

Using this challenge has been doubled up as a personal challenge to build out of my comfort zone. I have no interest in Cottagecore and red is also my least favourite colour, so obviously I did both.

Apart from the curved walls, a C shaped house is fairly easy to build and thankfully the roofing goddesses looked down kindly on me.

B - Bachelor Pad

Basant (Baz) Bathini

Baz is a graduate of Britechester University and resides in the hottest new tech suburb of Newcrest. He has a high paying job, a sleek home and the respect of his peers. Recently, Baz felt an emptiness in his heart that he wasn't able to fill, not even with accolades from his professional career.

That changed when he was introduced to body building. His new hobby has given him a sense of inner peace, purpose, and new friends to share his journey with. Though, with Baz being an over achiever, instead of overtime at work his weekends now consist of winning amateur body building competitions.

A - Art Deco

Anna Appleyard

Anna Appleyard is San Myshuno's most sought after art connoisseur. Her expertise and enthusiasm for art has given her the uncanny ability to always find the perfect artist for her client's desires.

Attending one of Anna's social events, the perfect combination of artistic melding will occur and inevitably a new social club will also have formed.

Anna has never been interested in love or companionship, and after the last guest has departed, she prefers her home to be one of quiet and solitude.

I was stuck in a build rut, but really wanted to continue the Alphabet Challenge, and since i imagined all the sims who lived in each letter, why not create them. Like the build, Anna was heavily influenced by Miss Fisher murder mysteries.

I like how I only made it to B before I took the easy way out to avoid roofing. I was recently replaying through Unpacking and I adored the sleek look of the grey-scale apartment and wanted to recreate it, hence the stunning idea for Bachelor Pad for B.

The double centre outdoor areas were an initial challenge, but the thought of creating an outdoor private bathtub was just too perfect for the single sim I imagined living in this house.

I had such a good time watching Doctor Ashley's Alphabet Build Challenge and I was inspired to do my own version of them. It's been great way beat the stagnation that Sims can get. You get to create your own little Polly Pocket Home and design a little life for your imaginary sim you haven't even created in CAS yet.

A = Art Deco

My newest obsession is Art Deco thanks to Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries, and even though High School Years is a waste of a pack, at least we got some Art Deco out of it.

Got inspired after watching @oshinsims and her Family Dynamics challenge, and spent over two hours making a new sim in CAS and working out their whole life story....only to find out I created a monster.

Well this was more than 10 days...

I finally got a shiny new computer last month (and have barely used it because I also started Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PS4 at the same time), and just got around to installing Sims all over again. And of course I’ve lost my download file for Photoshop.

I’m finally back after my internet being down for 10 days. I’m gonna need another 10 days just to catch up on every one’s stories and I’m only just downloading the latest update now. Can’t wait to see what fresh bugs are in store for us all.

Ombre: “Bartender! MCCC just “blessed” me with triplets. I need a drink of whatever will get me hammered the fastest, like yesterday.”

Minty: “Now that I can do.”

Callista: “Let’s not forget our agreement to supply responsible servings of alochol.”

Minty: *pooouuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*

Ombre: “If any of you try to touch my drink I will hit you so hard you’ll end up back in CAS creation.”

Callista: “I’m impressed you made enough to buy a bar after a single day.”

Minty: “I might not be great at fishing, but I know how to find junk.”

The first customers arrive, and unfortunately it’s Max Villareal and his date.

Max: “I will have a Sunset Valley and for the lady, a Granny Smash.”

Minty: “Uhhh yeah, I’m Mixology Level 1 so maybe order a Nectar and we’ll go from there.”

Max: “What sort of bar doesn’t make a Sunset Valley?! I demand to speak to your manager! No. THE OWNER!!!!”

Minty: “Of course I’ll get you the owner. Callista?”

Callista: “Oh dear, I going to have to ask you politely to leave.”

Rather than being patient and letting Minty raise her fishing skill, I instead have her fish through the night at a spot I know sims catch some high value trash.

And by early morning Minty has fished enough trash for a bar and a door.  Let the Merrriweather Live in Business open!

After a quick nap, Minty energetically heads out to find some collectables. Maybe we’ll get lucky and the first rock will contain a rare item-

Minty: “It’s a common MySims Trophy. Wow, this is worthless!”

Nevermind. It’s of course fishing where we’ll find our riches-

Minty: “A minnow. You’re really shattering my confidence little guy”

Callista: “Well here goes my first day in minimum wage. Hopefully you can find some collectables that’ll be worth more than my measly pay cheque today.”

Minty: “Hopefully when I go fishing I’ll just catch a bar. That will solve a few problems.”

Callista: “Try your hardest, and PLEASE don’t go back to sleep after I’ve gone.”

Minty: “Pfft no trust...................well maybe just a little nap.”

New Avatar and a cute kitty

My sister sent me this to explain why I am actually a cat, and you know what. She is completely 100% correct about everything. (especially point 4, I’m pretty sure that is my default face)

Hence the new Avatar, I am but a kitty in dinosaur’s clothing.

Junior: “You know, Newcrest just updated its licencing laws. Why don’t you apply for a Live In Business trait and you can run a cafe or a bar from home?”

Callista: “That IS a good idea. We won’t have waste money on another plot of land to get started.”

Junior: “I’m full of good advice. Like not trusting MCCC. Give it a chance and it’ll give you a baby on your first day of the challenge! Maybe you two should flag yourselves for no romance. That’s the best option.”

Minty: “Well, maybe we are just more careful with MCCC than you were....”

Junior: *chokes*

Callista: “Uuuuurgh. Minty, really.....”

Junior: “Have you two had your fill of fishing, catching frogs and digging up treasure maps so you can buy a plot of land?”

Callista: “It hasn't even been a day yet. And Minty’s going to do that. Since I need to master the Chef Aspiration I need to.....get a job.”

Junior: *scoff* “Who ever heard of Riches from working a JOB?”

Minty: “They’re currently looking for a Head Dishwasher here. It’s §16 an hour.”

Junior: “A whole day of work and you could afford 2 walls. Living the dream”
