Bunny hybrid Dennis is running away from his family, who wanted to sell him cause he’s the most fertile in the family. It's some terrible, disgusting bunny from another carrot farming family that already had rumours of abuse and mistreatment floating around him
He's always been obedient, but he refuses to let his family ruin his life
After weeks of running, he can smell the rain in the air, and he knows there’s a big storm coming. He’s lost in the woods, but there’s this comfy cave against a mountainside, and it’s the only shelter around, so he goes in there to wait it out
Bear hybrid Robby is woken up by the sweetest smell that he’s ever smelled in his den. No one ever comes around because of the rumors that he eats people, so he’s very curious to see who dared tread inside his home
He walks slowly out of the deep part of the cave to see this adorable bunny shivering at the mouth of the cave, watching the rain get steadily heavier
Dennis’s ear twitches, and he spins around to see Robby
Maybe he should be scared, but he’s mostly curious because he’s never seen a bear hybrid before. Robby’s so large and hairy, unlike all the other hybrids he’s seen before
The two stare at each other before Robby turns around and ambles back into his warm den. After a moment of hesitation, Dennis follows and is in awe at how a cave can seem infinitely more comfortable and homey than his life back with his family
Robby feeds him, and after some hesitation and a particularly cold wind drifting through the cave, Dennis is comfortably snuggled in Robby's warm embrace, and he has the most peaceful sleep of his entire life
Something, something, this ends with Dennis being pregnant with a massive fluffle of babies. He and Robby live happily ever after
