Yeah, I think you can. Officer Kalakaua, with 5-0. I got sent over here.Â
Ah, hm. Oh! Yeah, there was a disruption on the higher levels of the building --I'm not sure if the aggressor is still there, as that's more Reginald's field.
I can show you to his office, if you'd like.
"You guys are pretty busy all the time, huh?"
Yeah, seems like every week there's something new to deal with.
Just Coffee | Oliver & Felicity [Closed]
Oliver sipped his coffee and he nodded when she told him about the robber. âWellâŠI have the utmost confidence that youâll do whatever you can to make it impossible for him to get anything form themâŠeven if it stops the banks for a few hours while DIggle and I take him out.â He said as he gave her a small smile.
"See? Problem solved," he said quietly. "I mean I know itâll be harder than that but weâll get him. Thanks forâŠtelling me." He mumbled. He looked up from his coffee cup at her, his brows pushed together. "Is that the only reason you wanted coffee?" He asked, his eyes focused completely on her.
"Just a heads up. We've got to be a tad bit more proactive when it comes to these things, you know?" she said, returning the smile. Felicity didn't mention that she found this entirely by accident, because the point she made was a lot more important considering what happened with the Count. They were caught off-guard and...
"No problem, Oliver. It's something you needed to know, but it wasn't all I called you for coffee for. I wanted to catch up, to talk. We haven't really been doing a lot of it--a lot of healthy talking, I mean. 'I'm sorry you had to do that' isn't exactly healthy."
Would a spot thatâs only a seedy bar after midnight do the trick?
It's...[ checks her phone ] ...11:30, yeah, it'd do wonderful.
Just Coffee | Oliver & Felicity [Closed]
Oliver smiled a little when Felicity got a donut and a coffee, and he ordered the same thing, a regular coffee, but his was black. When they got the beverages he put them in a carrier, settled his hand against his partnerâs back and ushered her to a small table in the corner. He sat down and passed her the cup and then took his own, sipping it and making a hissing noise at the temperature.
He cleared his throat as he shifted and let his eyes move around the room, keeping tabs of everyone and everything as he always did. âSoâŠwhat did you want to talk about?â he asked, trying to keep it business, since thatâs what it seemed like she wanted.
"There's a serial bank robber. Not in Starling City exactly, but he's going to be, based on his pattern. He's moving down the coast, striking every major city. What with...recent events, we've been put on the map even more so than before."
She took a sip of the coffee and then made a face at the heat, before going back to the matter at hand. "I just wanted to alert you to that. Sources say he's better than the Dodger. Probably a lot more dangerous too."
"Itâs pretty nice. I mean, itâs not really like what Iâve seen here, but thereâs never a boring day. Thereâs always something that needs to be done."
It sounds eventful. Sometimes I wish Starling City would be a little less so.
"In that case, donât let me stop you."
That's the thing--do you know where one is? Preferably not in a seedy bar.

Can I help you, ma'am?
hammerindustriesÂ
Ah, I wasn't aware Mr. Queen was expecting someone at this time. Do you have an appointment?
"Hey there, stranger. Lookinâ for somebody?"
Not in particular--more just a bathroom.
"Good, good. Iâm glad to hear that youâre all on the mend."
As well as we can be. So, uh, what's it like in Central City?Â
Just Coffee | Oliver & Felicity [Closed]
He frowned in confusion when she mentioned nights where she was alone. He didnât like leaving her alone, but that usually happened, mostly because he was out trying to save Starling City. However, he was pretty sure he knew where she was going. He went and held open the door for her and followed in after.
He gave a short laugh as he grinned, âA failing company,â he reminded her. âNot to mention my trustfund isnât exactly as stellar as it used to be..not that itâsâŠthat low,â he snorted a small laugh. âButâŠI can buy you the coffee,â he nodded. âGet whatever you wantâŠwe can talk when weâre in a corner somewhere.â he said as he stood at the register.
Nights alone were so common that, to a certain extent, Felicity didn't even mind them, whether they were spent in the "Arrow Cave" or at home. That wasn't to say she enjoyed being alone, but it wasn't something to complain about.
"There's still more money in that company than in my entire future," she retorted, mostly joking. "I don't get much when it comes to coffee, though." She ordered a regular coffee--and a donut because it's not like she was dieting or anything. Donuts made the world go round in her eyes.
âI donât doubt that at all.â { I canât even begin to imagine what that must have been like. } âMust have been pretty traumatic.â
That's an understatement. But we've been healing just as well as the city has.Â
"I am, yes." { Anyone who hasnât heard about it must live under a rock. I remember the phones in Central City just wouldnât stop ringing. } âSuch a shame that it played out that way.â
It's definitely this city's tragedy. Everyone remembers where they were... [ Alone. Crying. Trapped. --words, rather than location, but still. ]
"Yep, Iâm a police scientist from Central City. They assigned me to help out the police department here in Starling with some particularly difficult cases."
Ah, I see. [ great. he's likely to run in to oliver. that's something I should mention to him. ] I take it you're familiar with the Undertaking, then?
Ah imagine being the owner of a business it would. You however, do not seem like the shady type.â
Aside from the occassional eye shadow, I try to keep things clear. I don't think I got a name from you, actually.
