HIHIHI!!! YES I’ve seen it a few times, but its been about a year since I’ve seen it... Definitely not as popular as using “Mihou”!
In response to your tags:
XiaoTian is MK’s first name, “Qi” is his surname. So ig it’s more like Qi XiaoTian, I just tend to add spaces between the characters as a habit lol, the space doesn’t change the meaning :)
Writing either 齐小天 (Qi XiaoTian) or just 小天 (XiaoTian) is correct - you don’t need to add the capital “T” in “Tian”, I’m just doing it to identify each character.
MK’s full Chinese name is 齐小天 (Qi XiaoTian). It’s a reference to Sun WuKong’s most iconic title: 齐天大圣 (Qi Tian Da Sheng - Great Sage Equalling Heaven).
齐 (Qi) = Equal to/Equalling | 天 (Tian) = Heaven/Sky
小 (Xiao) means “little” (could also mean “young”). 大 (Da) means “big” or, in the context of Sun WuKong’s title, it means “great”.
I’m not a translator, or a native/fluent Chinese speaker… But with all these things in mind I would translate MK’s name to “Equal to little heaven”. Or maybe “Equal to little sky”, changing “heaven” to “sky” to further imply he’s Sun WuKong’s student? 🤔
Keep in mind I’m not fluent in Chinese
I’m just autistic as hell abt LMK and learnt Chinese for like 2-3 years because of it. If anyone more knowledgeable wants to correct me please do!
