I just know Stiles is strong as fuck.
He looks kinda skinny and gangly as a teen. He squirms and yelps and is super ticklish and his pain tolerance isn’t that high and he’s squeamish and doesn’t like needles or chopped off limbs or even blood really.
So everyone is kinda stunned when he starts throwing punches that topples werewolves to the floor. He trains with the betas and they still have more advantages than him of course, but it’s not easy to take him down.
Derek should have known it in the pool. Stiles was holding them both over the water for two hours. But he’s still speechless when his back hits the wall con forza mid-argument, and Stiles is just pinning him there. He tests the hold of Stiles’ grip a little just to check, and whispers “holy shit” almost reverently.
the thing about scott and stiles is that they’re both chaotic gremlins and pieces of shits (said affectionately). the thing is that it’s stiles’ default to be that way so no one honestly really cares and that’s just him. meanwhile that’s not scott’s default so he’s able to get away with it more because he’s also just so sweet and adorable. in the first episode stiles’ dad straight up is just like “where’s scott” in the woods to stiles because he knows that both of them are chaotic little shits.
