being 25 is weird and rough and sometimes feels like as much of a struggle as college or high school but in a very different way. everyone around me is getting married, having children, getting promotions and traveling to amazing places and i’m not there at all...of course i know i shouldn’t compare myself to others but it’s difficult when you’re so far behind. i’m trying to make progress but factors out of my control are hindering me from doing so and it’s so frustrating. also societal expectations are bullshit yet i feel bad about myself for not developing at the same pace as others

straight male sexuality is so cold. its completely driven by contempt for femaleness. they just want to ‘smash’ and ‘bang’ and ‘fuck’ and ‘wreck’ and ‘destroy’ women sexually. men talk about sex as if its an act of violence, i guess for a lot them it literally is. sex and female degradation is inextricably linked for men. female degradation IS sex for most men. its terrifying.
