//Continued after what happened with him and Amethyst.(check #amethyst tag for refresher)//
It has been almost a week after everything that went down with him and Amethyst. While heâs had that heart-to-heart conversation with her, something about seeing her now sends a wave of absolute guilt throughout his body.
Amethyst was someone who he could always relate to, someone who he could always go to whenever something is wrong. But now, he canât look at her the same way, and heâs almost for certain that she canât look at him the same way either.
Steven was visibly stressed out, sprawled around his bed, and could not think of anyone else to go to for these certain topics. It was then that a familiar glow in his abdominal region guided him to an all too familiar place heâs been to, many times that heâd wish to admit.
He walked into his motherâs old room, pink clouds surround his every viewpoint like always. âSo why did you want me to come in here?â he asked, looking down on his gem glowing brighter. It was then that the room once again formed the shape of his loving mother. This was the first time seeing her since the last time it happened when he was younger.
Stevenâs tumultuous and worsening mood had drawn his gem to open up his motherâs room. There was a fine line between what Steven wanted and needed, and the room confused the two quite easily on a regular basis. This time, however, it was clear what Steven needed. Motherly guidance.Â
As Roseâs shape was formed by the clouds of the room, she breathed a soft sigh, her eyes closed, before finally, they opened, and the cloud construct smiled fondly down at her son. Approaching him, Rose couldnât help but breathe a laugh, smiling broadly at him.
âHello, Steven. My, look at you. Youâve gotten so big.â Reaching out, Rose touched his cheek, her gaze warm and tender. Many things could be said about this construct, but it was clear that the fondness she held for Steven was incredibly genuine.
Allowing her hand to fall, Rose pondered on what to say. He had not directly ASKED for her, to be fair, but both she and the room knew it was necessary right now, so she let out a thoughtful hum, taking a seat in the clouds, gesturing for him to take a seat beside her.
âYouâve been going through a lot lately, havenât you?â
