From Star vs. the Forces of Evil - Gone Baby Gone.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Wyscan is hella sexy.

Super Sailor Moon style villain here, so I thought it’d be fun to do a particularly Sailor Moon-y cue for Wyscan, baroque-y with a flute and harpsichords and stuff.

The tricky thing about a scene this long is breaking it up into sections, and I guess the day I wrote this cue I wasn’t into key changes so much (which are kind of an easy, quick-fix when you want to up the ante – I mean, it works great in pop songs, so they’re certainly not a bad thing, have you heard the key change in “Living on a Prayer” that thing is legend, ok anyways), so I change time signatures instead (4/4 to 12/8 about two-thirds into it) and I think that serves the same purpose.

I want to make myself clear. 

It may seem like I hate Starco and the idea of it happening. 

No I am not against Starco. 

What I hate and the problem here is how the writers are making it happen. 

They already established that Star and Marco are just friends. 

They have already established Marco and Kelly’s relationship. 

And they already made Star and Tom a couple again. 

They already established and developed these things. 

And now at the last second, they are breaking everybody up and making Starco cannon. 

Now like I said before, I do not hate Starco. 

If the writers wanted Starco to happen, then they should have established it more and given it much more development. 

But now it happening at the very last second at the end of season 4, it just feels forced. 

And that’s my issue with it.
