'Hey Arnold' TV Movie in Works as Nickelodeon Aims to Revive Classic Shows

Nickelodeon hopes to score a new touchdown with a favorite animated character who has a head shaped like a football. The Viacom-owned kids’ outlet is developing a new TV movie based on Hey Arnold!, the animated series that ran between 1996 and 2004 and focused on a fourth-grader with an oblong noggin who lived with his grandparents in a boarding house. The  TV movie will feature a storyline that picks up where the original series ended and resolves unanswered plotlines–including the whereabouts of Arnold’s parents, long missing from the program. Executives at the network declined to offer a specific date for when the new content might be ready or air.

Women don’t have to do it. Why? Because. As a man, if you don’t sign up before the age of 26 you can be fined $250,000, be denied a trial, and get up to five years in prison. You are denied student loans. You are denied Federal Job Training. You are technically not a citizen. Some states give worse punishments for not signing up. It makes it harder to get a driver’s license, financial aid, and to pursue employment. They even require illegal immigrants to sign up. And they say nothing of providing them with a citizenship, as far as I can see. It is widely believed that “only sons” are not required to sign up for selective service and the draft. This is false. They can, and will draft only sons who “carry on the family name”. They can draft single fathers.

I can’t find much else. If anyone has any other sources, feel free to add them.
