Ok, now that we’ve had a week to think about it, here’s another, more S1-ish fix it (as the last one was desperate and had issues…but let’s be honest, so did the “season”.)

idk if i have moved on from the devastation of the finale yet because on one hand, i haven't even rewatched it yet and physically cannot watch any edits that have the last scenes in them, but on the other hand i keep watching very hot edits of crowley from that alleyway scene

after sleeping on it i've decided that i'm gonna pretend that did not happen lol

jokes aside i genuinely did not like the ending. the way that they suffered so much and did not get to live their happy ending? broke me. the characters who got their happy ending were asa and anthony. not aziraphale and crowley. what made them so interesting was their history and the things they went through to even just be near each other and go3 just discarded it? just like that?

this is not me "not understanding" the finale too. i'm allowed to understand something and dislike it anyway.

what i will say is that both of them felt out of character at times that i don't even think i can count some of their interactions as canon lol.

all in all there were very good scenes too, obviously. Jesus was an amazing character for example, just wished we could've had more of him.

and demon muriel too oh my.

and i know this goes without saying but i still prefer this over it being written by a rapist.

but anyway if you think the ending was good thats fine of couse i'm genuinely happy you liked it these are just my opinions!

don't get me wrong, it's amazing to have friends who watch the same things that you do, but like... sometimes it feels embarrassing. especially if there's a character that i relate to. cause like, if i say "oh [the character] is so me!!" for a character they dont know, they just say "oh hahah really?" BUT if its someone they know WHAT IF they think "umm they're not like you, at all"?!?! i'll have to die.
