First and foremost, I would like to say Happy New Year. Shit has gotten so hectic, and I would have it no other way.  2020 is going to be the year where I am going to pursue A and get him to admit that he has a crush on me.

I’m going to tell him that I missed talking with him and that I’m excited for an amazing year with him.  He’s going to be shocked that I took what he said to heart.  For some reason, I feel submissive when I take his advice and his words in. 

My husband has given me permission to become polyamorous with another man, and this is why I plan on getting A to be mine.  I found out that A has been showing classic signs of flirting with me: messing with his hair, mimicking my movements, wanting to touch my hand, laughing and genuinely smiling...  

This is going to be weird, but I’m excited to start this new journey. Perhaps he feels the same.

A has been busy setting up for his new practice, and last session, he didn’t seem like himself. He’s overworked and I feel bad.

However, I have had extreme anxiety and went to set up an appointment with him in person. He wanted to see how I was doing and asked if he wanted me to have a few minutes with him before walking into my appointment with M, who is the woman who prescribes my mental health meds. Needless to say, he was not only honored by seeing me today, but he took up a few minutes just because. 

So, after chatting with me, he walked me down the hall to M’s office. And then he paused.... And asked if he should stay and that it was up to me. I let A stay in, and he stared at me the entire time as I described my issues. He reminded me to tell M about other things, and he really made sure to help me. 

That was the sweetest thing a guy has ever done for me, my husband included. (My husband hates meds and therapy with a passion, so I mean it.) But he took time out of his hectic schedule for ME. And I have never felt so happy.

His middle name is Alexander. And I, being a person who loves names, think that it’s the sexiest middle name ever. I squealed internally!

I found loads of tea at my old apartment, and I think I might give A some tea for Christmas. I think he would love Chai and some Green Jasmine to keep warm. Maybe he will actually drink some in my prescence.

And THAT would be a cute thought for me to gush too.

So I had my last class with my tc until after winter break and he had me stay after class. We were talking and he told me to “kick ass” on the rest of my finals and said “I’m gonna miss you so much over break”. Then he hugged me and was rubbing my back while we were hugging (which he knows I find relaxing). When I went to pull away he wouldn’t let go. So I kept saying “I have to go” and each time he would respond with “nope”. It was the cutest thing I literally wanna cry🥺

Do you think that everything happens for a reason...? That we met for a reason? 

A said this a while back. But that was before I knew he had feelings for me. It was so hard to get to sleep because I can tell that in 3 months, his whole demeanor has changed. He went from professional to complimenting me, craving handshakes, and saying that he wants me in his life, regardless of him being my therapist.  He went from being stand-offish to totally bold and telling me about his life. He even mentioned his partner, J. But he seemed uncomfortable talking about her to me.

He admitted that we have chemistry and that we feel comfortable with one another. And eventually, he will call me on his private phone and then I will have his number. Hmm, I’m flattered and happy.
