little late to the trend, but the cunt has been served
You can make a movie with where the only white character is a man named Ray Cism whose one line of his 16 seconds of screen time is âI seriously hate women and minorities.â and youâll find fifty bajillion reader x Ray Cism fanfics and renaissance style drawings of him with a halo of golden light
Happy 51st birthday to David Dastmalchian!

Hereâs something I found in a document titled âHave You Ever?â which based on the date I wrote while bedridden with Covid?? Doesnât seem right, but ok. As with before, it is unfinished, and might be finished someday, but it also might not.
Here we go:
i hope you all think of me not just as your friend but as your mutual who likes your personal post like way too soon after you posted it
kyle fletcher x kit wilson... consider this.
the bob show
Hello! I was thinking about something. In every one of those shows that have way too many seasons, if there is a Black character that dies or moves or anything, they are always replaced by another Black character (this is usually true for any non-white character). So I started thinking about what this might convey to the audience. Ofc that if all of the Black characters where replaced by white or non-Black characters in general, that would suck, but why can't a white character ever be replaced by a non-white one?
And that can show that there is a certain "needed" number of Black characters for it to be "not racist but still consumable for white audiences" and look like the people in the writing room are just putting a Black character to say there is one (tokenization and all that).
So I kept thinking and thinking and the answer I got was the same for almost everything: evaluate the context, intention and what that implies. But I do think that most of the media that does that, falls into the tokenization thing. Because the standard for those shows is: two Black characters in the main cast at max. Usually a man and a woman. And the woman is always "strong, angry and strict" while the man is either "funny, childish and cool" or "strong, angry and strict" đđđ
So I wanted to know what do you think about that! Sorry if any of this is rubbish or worded badly, I started doing excercises about "why do I think the way I think?" and I'm trying to learn and do better.
â Mr. CBC: đ¤ I'm really thinking what shows do this. I can't remember any that I've watched personally. Maybe Invincible? With Dark Wing? But that doesn't have too many seasons and OG Dark Wing... Well we know what happened. But to answer your question, Black people are considered replaceable by white viewers and creators. I probably wouldn't be exaggerating when I say: EVERY Black person, who has been around white people, has been mistakenly identified as another Black person in that same space. WE as REAL LIFE PEOPLE aren't even seen as important enough to remember. Why would that be different for side characters on a show?
As for the white characters, if you replace them, the white audience would lose their shit. We all know how bad and annoying that is for everyone else đâ
