If I hear one more traugenic system call an endo claiming plurality ableism, I’m gonna lose it. Mind you, we’re a traumagenic system. We’re also fucking disabled and use a mobility device (cane). An endo claiming plurality is not fucking ableism. Endo people coming into a plural space is not keeping you from getting good mental healthcare, is the fact that our medical healthcare system is actively built against helping disabled people. I know what ableism looks like, Cheryl.

got pissed off at someone online so heres your friendly reminder that endogenic plurality ≠ did/osdd plurality and no one is saying it does.

plurality, multiplicity, “parts”, and systemhood is a concept that exists on its own. it is severely understudied in a medical sense but highly documented throughout history, and it exists as a separate thing from did & osdd.

think of it like a umbrella term in the same way you would trans, or neurodivergent, or bread. they all exist as a general thing but theres also multiple more specific types under each category. did systems and osdd systems are their own individual types of systems and plurality, and endogenic systems are a different type of plurality. they are not exactly the same thing although they fall under the same umbrella term and share similar experiences.

you can not have did or osdd without trauma as far as the research shows, however did and osdd is not synonymous with plurality as a whole and other types of plurality can be experienced without trauma.
