I basically view Halvoric's amazing art as illustrations of my dream AU head canon. A beautiful universe where the Master took up the Doctor's invite to tour the galaxies together, with Ten getting into trouble trying to save everyone and the Master standing back, generally wondering how he wound up there and occasionally visiting horrific violence on the baddies who genuinely threaten his space boyfriend. Cue self-righteous shouting, angry sex, angry silence, passive-aggressive sniping, a gradual acceptance of affection interspersed with declarations of Ten's idiocy, and then start all over again.

And every now and again, the Doctor convinces the Master to dye his hair brown again, until they both decide they prefer bleach blond and hoodies (with the occasional red collar) to a suit.
