Oh, goodness, look at that.
Asgore remained kneeling, smiling patiently as the mass of tentacles worked towards him, admittedly impressed that such a thing could move so quickly. Actually, he wasn’t entirely sure where they’d come from – they’d just cropped up in the garden! Fortunately, he was always fond of company, but had they snuck up on him, they might’ve given him a scare. He wasn’t sure he’d ever met a monster like this, even when addressing the public, but supposed perhaps they were just shy.
He was delighted they weren’t too timid to approach him one-on-one!
Soon enough, his visitor had reached him, and even lifted two of their many tentacles to wave, and – oh! Asgore wiggled his nose as it was lightly tapped, grinning in amusement by the action. He rested a paw on his knee, leaning over a bit further.

The large, green squib had settled a majority of their mass in a pile, one of the many tentacles acting as their face while it stayed raised in mid air, facing the king. A smile had even appeared across the tendril at the friendliness of Asgore, pleasantly surprised that the other had engaged in conversation - regardless of the fact that they couldn't necessarily speak in any specific verbal language. It could only form small hisses which in itself was still sort of a language. Other Squib's communicated like this when need be but Squib only new a couple of phrases while everything else was just them expressing themselves with whatever noise they mustered.
The only other way it could communicate was through poor english writing and sadly enough it hadn't any paper or utensils.
It's tentacle shifted from side to side as though looking around for something - a means of communication - but found none so it laid the tentacle against another, tapping the ground as though to be thinking. It rolled itself around, kind of flipping over in defeat before emitting as friendly of a hiss as it could manage.
They had no idea how they'd get their message across that they were terribly lost and not from the underground now but at least they had given an effort..!
