Demi Lovato- Catch Me (a capella)
I love this song! It’s one of my favorites!
So, since I can’t post my poetry due to possible copyright issues, I’ll post my singing. I hope you all like it!

RIRI- Ready For Love (a capella cover)
Still trying to keep up with the singing.
Sadly, I can’t post poetry with the copyright issues that may occur. Still trying to beat around that. For now, this will have to do.
(TeQuest)
I’m testing a new project, especially since I can’t really post my poems online if I want them to be published in anthologies.
This is the first of (hopefully many) podcasts to come.
Thank you for the love and support!
Building (plus Yang Yoseob’s “Caffeine” intro)
They wanted me to sing all throughout the residency, and when I told them about singing in Korean, I was told I had to. No matter what.
The poem’s after the song.
What I learned in 2016:
1. Everything ends for a reason. Learn to notice these endings.
2. People won’t always believe you. Even when you tell them the truth, they’ve already got an idea set in their mind.
3. Actions speak louder than words. So, don’t try to talk too much.
4. Learn to be alone. No matter who comes (back) into your life, learn to be on your own.
5. If you love two people, go for the second. Because you wouldn’t love them if you truly loved the first.
6. Always be honest. Whether they believe you or not, tell the truth for your own sake.
7. You live for yourself. No matter who leaves your life, no matter how alone you are, you still have your heart and your health. You still walk on this earth with a voice. Live to make yourself happy.
8. People are not homes. They’re only maintenance for your unique home. And there will be times when you find a new maintenance man to work on your home.
9. Only you know your true intentions. No one else does. No matter what they say, believe in yourself. Only you know what lies in your brain.
10. There’s always one person on your side. God. He’ll never let you go. He’ll never let you down.
On This Day
A tribute to 9-11/Patriot Day
Ever Changing
I’ve been told that poetry is always changing depending on the poet.
Today, I’ve realized that my poetry is changing now too. Instead of writing fantasies and things I want to see, I’m finally taking a look at the reality in front of me.
My mom doesn’t agree with it... I wonder if this is how Maya Angelou felt as she continued writing.
But it’s my voice, and I won’t stop creating what I think needs to be heard.

Terra Walker- “Tomorrow” and “Our Flight”
I’m back in the open mic scene, even though I can only fit one performance in a month (so far). It’s so great to be back on stage!
Here’s some new work from NaPoWriMo.
Enjoy!

Love Is
When you disappeared And people said You would never return, But I kept telling them That you would Despite the hope I had lost.
My Beacon
When did you let Everyone’s opinions matter To you?
My new song: Before The Night
I finally got a new song out, even if it's only a capella!
Just focuses on wondering where your loved one will go home to after the day is done.
Hope you all enjoy!
