A month has passed since Remembrance Day's events; the Council still has pressed no formal charges against the -- guests, taking up quarters in the Barracks. It's noteworthy that their privileges have been extended. River Balish and Rory Bartlett are free to roam about Tera with a sentinel in tow. Whispers about why the traitors are being given so many allowances are spreading quickly. Whether the Council decide to address these murmurings remains to be seen.
Something far more important are the strange flying creatures that were spotted in the early morning sky last month. Field researchers indicate they have seen swarms on these flying creatures overhead. The number isn't precise, but it is said to be in the hundreds. All headed to the west of Tera towards high cliffs floating over the or near the blood wood. They are unsure what to make of this sudden migration, but some believe it might signal a weather shift. Nights are suddenly almost freezing temperatures but produce no snow. While during the day, it's become so humid that nothing but the shade of Mount Lumina in the Outlands can provide relief from the heat.
While in Tera, with the intent to get people's minds off the ever-fickle weather conditions as of late: Cafe Society, Pandemic, and De Luca's will be showing some movies on the holo projections and offering free refreshments in the hopes of beating the heat. During the day, with lively performances at night to heat things up.
The Outlanders however are making preparations to head towards the Sky Cliffs to seek out refuge. It is far to quiet and this can only signal one thing; that the sky will soon fall.
Hey guys, so Jess and I have been talking and have made a few tweaks to the activity. This is in the hopes of making sure everyone feels like they have enough time to do replies and don’t feel rushed. But also making sure that we still have an active dash. This will also give Jess and I more time to plan for events, as well as working on TeraNorhq Lore pages. Operates within its own code of law. Here is where you find the things deemed 'unsuitable' for the haves. While those of the have nots call it ' necessity.' Hello nonnie! First, can I say that either of these beautiful FCS would make a lovely addition to the group. I put the question forth to our writers, and currently they are leaning towards Summer Bishil! But as always please bring in anyone that you have the most muse for!
As the new day dawns, both Terran and Outlanders take stock of the night before. With loved ones, dead, injured, or missing. During the previous night's attack, those fallen bodies have been brought back to either the Outlands or shepherd into Tera. Whiles some have minor injuries and very bruised egos. Kade Bishop has suffered a significant wound from being shot by Captain Helena Matthews, who too suffered a minor concussion. It is unclear if this was intentional or accidental. He is currently in Medbay receiving treatments. Lilith Bane, too was seen with significant wounds on her abdomen but is stable as well.
Elio Kim has been put in charge of studying the remains of the creatures that attacked. Many Terran's and outlanders have started to call the animals Shadows. The dead corpse and body parts of these Blood Wood creatures have been taken to the labs. Only those with a level clearing of 4 or higher are allowed in the Lab or accompanied by a level 4. Elio Kim has also found a strange device dropped by an Outlander. A silver disc around a necklace that he used to subdued the creatures; he is still unsure of what this is or how it works. Perhaps he will seek out the aid of a factotum or an infotech to uncover what this thing can do.
It has become clear that what transpired the night before has drawn a line in the sand. Emerson Avery set forth the order that Outlanders are banned from entering into Tera. And must keep fifty feet distance from the city wall (where the blood wood is). On threat of exile for Terran seen with Outlanders and Possible imprisonment for Outlanders to close to Tera. Sentinels are working double shifts to makes sure those unwanted are kept out. River Balish and Rory Bartlett are currently under custody. However, rather than being held in the brig with other lawbreakers. The two have been given quarters on the cadet floor. They are not allowed to leave their quarters on their own. Free to explore the Barracks with a sentinel to watch them. They are not allowed to roam about Tera. Visitors will be restricted but allowed for these two until The Council determines the proper punishment they wish to pass down.
Someone that has not been seen since entering Tera is the tanner Everett. There are whispers among the Outlanders about their Second in Command and Sawbones arrested and now the tanner. His body is not among those of the dead. Where has he gone? Or was he taken? Many questions have arisen, one of which is how to get those taken back and out of the Council's grasp before they meet a fatal end.
There is some excellent news that amidst the bad for the Outlanders. The raiders Solaris, Splinter, and Athena have been able to gather the supplies they needed. And some they didn't. Though given the sullen looks of their faces, they wouldn't call in a successful mission. The critical thing A black box hidden in Dr. Balish's Lab is also in The Outlanders grasp; that holds something precious inside. Solaris Luna has handed this over to Katana Mar. The Commander has to weigh the option of telling the Outlanders of the gift; some of them might be given. Or does she wait? Unaware that there are only two people that will be able to open said box. And neither of these people are in the Outlands.

For Terrans: lab researchers, infotechs, and factotums. For outlanders: butcher, hunters, and tanners. The onslaught is unending. Weapons do scarce damage to the creature, but because of their exoskeleton. Little can penetrate its armor. All seems lost as Helena Matthews ushers Terrans and Outlanders together towards the city. In the desperate hope that maybe the doors will open. Meanwhile, the raid team emerge from The Black. Joining the fray in the hopes of offering aid to their friends.
Three figures work their way through the sea of people. Paris, Reign, and a mysterious man. The strangers clothes aren't Terran and don't quite fit that of an Outlander. One by one, they pull out chains from around their necks—a silver disc at the end of it. Nothing happens for five minutes. Suddenly one creature cries out. Shaking its head as if something grievous is being heard before running. Signaling for the others to follow. All but one of these creatures these... Shadows leave. One is left behind, softly screeching in pain; it meets the end from the mysterious man's blade. Before he two seems to disappear into the night.
A quiet settles, as you peer round the setting that has fallen. Bodies lay still in grass and dirt. Some are the corpse of the Shadows; the majority are the fallen Terran's and Outlanders. The gates to Tera are open, and those citizens are allowed back in.
However, armed sentinel exit. Flanking Emerson, Harper, and Sev3n, as the other three council members follow suit. Emerging for the first time since the attack.
Emerson separates from the rest. A resigned look on her face. She looks dejected, and you believe it. Feel the sincerity in her gaze as she reaches for the hand of a child close to her. Gently she strokes their hair before looking up at the audience waiting.
" This, was meant to be a day of peace. Today, was the time that we returned those pulled away. That the misgivings of our brethren could be washed clean." A scathing look is cast towards the Outlanders that hover near the edge of the darkness. Lifting her arm, she points the finger at Katana Mar. As Solaris Luna, Splinter Apollo and Athena Griffen flank her side. " But they came under false pretenses. Set these--things on us. These Shadows that stalk the woods that have. taken the lives of so many. And for what? To steal from us, To take what little we have and all that they needed to do was ask."
Her grip on the little girl's hand loosens as she ushers her back to the waiting parents. Turning, she nods towards a sentinel. Who motions for a few forward. Jennie Rong holds onto Rory, who is brought out first. A few seconds follows River, flanked by Felix Reyes and Malikai Davis in a sentinel uniform. The pair stand there as Emerson glares at them.
" How much longer do we suffer for their selfish desires? How many more of our people die because of their pig headedness."
Murmurs erupt. A cacophony of angered and confused voices of Terran agreeing with Emerson. As the outlanders or those few left stand and watch in silence. She releases her hands to quell the crowd. " River Balish and Rory Bartlett. Will be taken to a holding cell. Until we, The Council have determined a suitable punishment for them both. No Outlander, is allowed within 50 miles of Terra. Any Terran seen with an Outlander after this night, will be exiled."
Emerson's eyes land on Katana, and it almost looks as though there is a slight lift of her lip as she speaks her final words. Law decreed and set with them.
"For all mankind."
With that, she turns, her fellow council members following. River and Rory are dragged along behind. The edict that has been thrown out is swift. As sentinels aim their weapons towards those remaining Outlanders. A line has been drawn. Any ideas of reconciliation are gone.

Emerson and the council have spoken; this is the last night many will be able to see their loved ones again. Or at least that is what it seems.
Outlanders and Terrans, Collect your dead and injured and say your goodbyes. Because the next time, it may not be so cordial.
You are free to continue your event threads. Or post those goodbye threads for those of you who will be separated from your loved ones. The event will be over officially come Monday, where we will start a new weekly World Update. Please, if you plan to have any significant injuries to your character. Make sure to message the main if you haven’t reached out to Admin J already.
