I'm so glad there are no more pornbots. All it cost us was a large fraction on the content, too!
“Not use collective punishment as it is not fair on the many people who did nothing and under the 1949 Geneva Conventions it is a war crime.”
Wait it’s a fucking WAR CRIME?!?! I mean that might not be 100% accurate but now I gotta know
holy crap, collective punishment is a war crime.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Geneva_Convention#Collective_punishments
and according to the exact legal phrasing-
No protected person may be punished for an offense he or she has not personally committed. Collective penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited.
This technically counts, as students are civilians, and thus considered a “protected person”. So yes, collective classroom punishment breaks the fourth Geneva Convention, and she should be rewarded for standing up for human rights and doing her research.
Power-move: accuse your teacher of a war crime using knowledge they supplied you with
cheating is not “bound to happen” i’ve been alive almost 24 years and not once have i ever thought “hey i wonder what it’d be like to go outside of my relationship and destroy a persons self esteem and ability to trust”
never bitch
cheating is an active choice. its not second nature. and if it is second nature to you, then you need to do some real soul searching and figure out what the fuck went wrong in your life
Any comments, @i-raised-you-danker-than-this, you fucking cheating bitch? 😊
Ok i didnt expect people to message her, so to be clear @i-raised-you-danker-than-this is in fact not a cheating bitch and is a lovely person
You’re my least favorite sister
sister ……??!!!?
I should explain. We’re nuns.
This has gone in so many directions what else is there to this story
Them: Welcome to Suomi.
English peeps: Neat. But how about Finland?
Them: We live in Nihon.
English peeps: Cool, we'll say Japan, though.
Them: Our country is named Deutschland.
English peeps: Sounds fake. Let's call it Germany.
Why is that? Why do country names translate?
“Are you a big spoon or a little spoon?” ‘Ideally I’m a middle spoon.”
Can someone calculate for me the volume of loch ness in liters so I can figure out how many humans you’d need to drink it
Ok I had to search a bit, but it’s apparently 7,448,160,000,000 liters? this is a problem, the upper limit of the average human stomach is just four liters, and even then that’s a very uncomfortable amount of water to have in there. Which means there aren’t enough humans on this planet to drink all of loch ness
what if they drank their fill and then peed it out somewhere where the liquid wouldn’t just run back into loch ness? Then they could go back and drink more the next morning. How many days would that take? Would we end up with a new loch made entirely of pee? Loch piss?
possibly, but thats not taking rainfall into account and the amount of water fed into it every day by the River Oich
The upper limit for the human stomach is about 4 liters. It takes the human body about 45 to 60 minutes to absorb/expel 1 liter of water (for the sake of this math problem just go with 60 (1 hour). An average person sleeps 8 hours. An average person spends about 3 hours eating (1 hour for each meal of the day) A day is 24 hours.
1 person alone: 572 billion days or all 7.3 billion people just 78.5 days, roughly. Assuming no one died of e coli or something.
this is good, but again, this doesn’t take rainfall or the river oich into account. It would have to be done during a dryer season in scottland and the river would need to be dammed.
There is no dryer season in Scotland though. It hasn’t stopped raining since Roman times.
You might need a second team of people to hold umbrellas over the drinking people.
the rain would still drip off the umbrellas and into the loch, this is gonna be a problem… someone calculate the annual rainfall over Scotland, can 7 billion people outdrink it?
The western Highlands, where Loch Ness is located, is one of the rainiest places in Europe, with a yearly average rainfall of 4,577 millimeters (12.54 millimeters a day). Loch Ness’ surface area is 56 square kilometers. If it rains 12.54 millimeters every day, then Loch Ness will gain 702,240 cubic meters (over 700 million liters) of water per day. Everyone will have to drink 0.1 extra liters of water to keep up.
that sounds doable! our goal is now clear
ok but why tho?
if you can think of a better way to find Nessie I’d love to hear it
This entire exchange was an experience.

no language should be mocked other than french
Birds is “oiseaux” in French.
No letter is pronunced the way it should.
And there are seven of them.
ITS PRONOUNCED “WAZO” AND YES, I WILL DIE MAD ABOUT IT
oiseaux hits every vowel in the french alphabet and manages to only be pronounced with 2 goddamn syllables
got vowels coming out the oiseaux
The Arctic Fox Research Center in Iceland put cameras in some bird colonies to see if foxes were stealing eggs/chicks
and turns out the foxes were UNJUSTLY ACCUSED
the culprits were horses
HEY THIS IS BAD
My grandfather grew up on a farm in Kansas during the Dust Bowl. He and his brother shared a horse named Patches, which they rode to school each day. Despite being poor as shit and not having quite enough to feed their animals, his family noticed that this horse looked great. His coat was unusually glossy and beautiful all of a sudden - he looked healthier than they did.
The mystery was solved when my grandfather went into the chicken coop to collect eggs, and saw Patches lifting the window cover, pushing his muzzle underneath the hens, and eating the eggs right out of their nests.
Horses have been known to also eat meat.
http://thehorseaholic.com/the-forgotten-story-of-meat-eating-horses/
1) The BBC filmed horses eating fish on a beach of an English Island.
2) In Iceland pastured horses are provided, salted fish as a protein and mineral/salt supplement.
3) Horses have been known to consume raw meat and blood willingly in Arabia, New Zealand, and United States.
4) Lord Chamberlain of Bhutan confirmed that the 40 kings horses routinely received a special meal of Tiger fat and still feed their horses beef, and yak meat.
5) There was an American gelding in 1958 that routinely hunted and killed and even consumed small birds. He also repeatedly attacked humans. He was known as “Freight Train”.
6) Lisette a French mare, killed and consumed a Russian Officer during the Napoleonic Campaign.
Horses are now literally the most terrifying shit what the f u c k
I love how that list goes “fish, fish, opportunistic and pre-prepared meat, small birds, A WHOLE RUSSIAN OFFICER”
